£6.70 in cash but what have you got in coupons and apg's and the like? Coupon rich cash poor?
    check mate!
yep, been doing the sums and I should be able to double it at least :) ... and I am not sure we actually *need* anything until next month, except maybe the things with a July expiry on the coupon :rotfl:

I felt miffed for my son last year.
He was home on leave and due to go to a car show on the Saturday morning (they are all into big American muscle cars :) with one of his mates and mates Dad. Saturday morning came, no one came to collect him, after a long wait mate rang. They were going to car show without my son as mates Dad "objected to driving other peoples kids around"
At the time son number 1 was 22 - not exactly a "kid" and he was training down south so coming home for the weekend meant 2 trains, £50 odd for the train fare and a 5 hour journey.
Son number one took the knock back in his stride - I was seething as you can imagine.
Needless to say we treat all of our offsprings mates and friends as we do our own, lifts when they need them and we feed anyone who is home at mealtimes or comes in the door hungry, mates even shower here when they need to,sleep overs if thye come home very late just like our own.
I suppose having an open house and an open heart does not come naturally to some.

Yeah I would be miffed too, mhoc, that is an awful thing to do. I really don't understand some people.
Like you we treat our daughters friends like our own, I often look after them, feeding them, taking them to the cinema and days out(and paying!). I guess I should have realised when they had tea at our house last week, and the friend announced that she only eats Birds eye fishfingers. My daughter proudly pronounced "Oh my mummy is very good at shopping and gets all the offers" :rotfl:
Well I can only say that I am pleased I found out what they are really like near the start of the holidays.
As pattylabelle said - I will just think that they just dont deserve my daughters company. (Oh and if there is a next time they will definitely get smart price fishfingers! - I will get them in especially):rotfl:
When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"

    Hello elite.
    I've been busy busy busy
No chance of keeping up with things as I seem to have missed out on most of this thread since it started. I have missed beer (no hardship as the most I drink is a glass or 2 or labrini) coke, iron bru, lenor, orange juice, yoghurts, and goodness knows what else. Haven't seen any leaflets/booklets/coupons in my local store so I'm really T a disadvantage :(
Big meerkat see the specialist this week and baby meerkat reaches her 1/2 birthday too :eek:

Thanks to OP re sun cream celebrate?? Nikkilala?? Someone completely different no doubt. Managed to pick up about 30 little bottles for about £30 and they will be so handy for hols - how many would I need per person for a fortnight in Spain in October?

Also managed a cheap build a bear and some Avon for mil - thanks for those too if the OP is about here - see I lurk while feeding baby meerkat but rarely get an opportunity to log on....

I posted suncream on main grabbit but only because Rooted Nomad asked me too I confess:oSo thanks should go to them:T:T:TGlad you got it:T
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

when is it expected to start up? They're so behind not having online shopping.
Not sure of the details, my sister works for them and there have been rumbles about them starting it soon. Will ask the next time I see her.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

    evening folks......

Just a quickie....I begrudge paying more than 10p per wash...but am often limited to what I can buy as DD2 is allergic to anything other than non-bio, and its not very often that Fairy or Persil non bio glitches!

Anyways.....I buy the 40 tablets in a box (supposedly 20 washes)...often on offer for around £4.....then use just one of these tablets with laundry balls which reduce the amount of detergent needed (and can eliminate the need for it at all in some cases)....you can pick these up from about £3.... so works out at 40 washes for £4.... voila...10p per wash!!!

heres the laundry balls that Lakeland sell..

just worth thinking about.....no good for me but Ariel tablets go on offer tomorrow....40 tablets for £5....minus £1 Ts moc...and possibly minus £1 ssm one if you still have it = bargain :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
