    Price Promise Update

Thanks for entering your receipt details.

Your receipt is already being processed, and you should receive your email soon so that your shop can be compared to Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. That’s our Price Promise to you.

Please hold on to your receipt or delivery note, as you may need it later on.

Whilst you are waiting, why not check out our great online deals on tesco.com
Thanks Miss Laid I have just tried it and my receipt is processing

I felt miffed for my son last year.
He was home on leave and due to go to a car show on the Saturday morning (they are all into big American muscle cars :) with one of his mates and mates Dad. Saturday morning came, no one came to collect him, after a long wait mate rang. They were going to car show without my son as mates Dad "objected to driving other peoples kids around"
At the time son number 1 was 22 - not exactly a "kid" and he was training down south so coming home for the weekend meant 2 trains, £50 odd for the train fare and a 5 hour journey.
Son number one took the knock back in his stride - I was seething as you can imagine.
Needless to say we treat all of our offsprings mates and friends as we do our own, lifts when they need them and we feed anyone who is home at mealtimes or comes in the door hungry, mates even shower here when they need to,sleep overs if thye come home very late just like our own.
I suppose having an open house and an open heart does not come naturally to some.

    Should I be miffed?
Just found out that my daughters 2 friends have gone roller skating without inviting her. We are always taking them places and would never dream of leaving one of them out. My daughter is sad as she would have liked to go with her friends. The mum of one of her friends is very competitive, she bought her daughter the complete kit, skates, helmet, knee and shin pads whilst we bought our daughter some 2nd hand skates from ebay much to the disgust of the friends parents. She said that she would never do that although she is not adverse to selling them on ebay. My daughter has been having a great time on her skates and we have been taking her to a roller skating club each Sunday. As soon as we found out about the club i mentioned it to said mum and offered to take her daughter with us. They decided to go on their own and I think that they were disapointed to see that despite all the new kit their daughter is still struggling, whilst our daughter is having a whale of a time on her cheap skates, even though she has so much to learn, she was having fun.
Why do people have to be like this? I know this is a little thing in the grand scheme of things but feel sad for my daughter.

it's never ever been that bad tbh. I think I was really unlucky. But to be truthful, customer service goes out the window when someone is rude to me. I don't stand there biting my lip if I believe the customer is completely in the wrong and has no manners towards me. Why should I be polite if they can't?

However if customers are polite then I will go the extra mile :)
  • Oh a challenge, and now the rules have been set :D:D
Will you be requiring the receipt as proof as well, to show that it was indeed bought as a loose one and it hasn't come from a bag?! :rotfl:

i got one today, 2p on receipt,

only problem is i eat it in the car park!!

Maybe I'm tired (moody) but this weekend at work I've had a whole bunch of rude/angry customers in my face:mad::mad: I rarely have a rude customers but it really does p you of:o

One customer demanded I remove a SEL:eek: as the product was OOS. I told her that the delivery was expected for tonight so why on earth would I remove the ticket and make it harder for shift to locate the product on the shelf!!! She walked away.

Another told me to move the f*** out the way:eek::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I told them to cut the language out or I'll call security and get them thrown out the store! There's children about. There's a time and place for that and a supermarket isn't one of them. I actually said something along those lines and the individual looked embarrassed (Good!:o)

I saw a couple arguing with each other at the checkout and when I told them the amount they accused me of taking the p***:mad: I told them to check their receipt if they think I've made a mistake thank you very much!

I hadn't might I add, even though they stood holding the queue up reading their receipt, making the queue turn angrier by the second. No sorry or anything:mad: I should have said to her, breaking news: Food is expensive:cool:

Rant over with:o Needed to get that of my chest:o Don't work in retail folks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I know the feeling very well indeed. There are days when it just seems like people are crawling out of the woodwork

Tomorrow will already be better. You've got a day off :j
