That's great, will try my luck in L during the week
Not really beer drinkers in our house so didn't even try. At least you stood your ground Sharon, I would have ran and hid in costa:rotfl: I seriously need to man up with this couponing lark...I'm the kind who hands them over with a red face and an apology
DH, 21 yr old DS and his many friends all like a beer so this was amazing for me, got a nice little stash and so over the moon with it. Normally I'd be the same as you but the nasty cow got me on a bad day and I knew the coupons stated 1 per product, although I was persistant, I was polite and it seemed the more I smiled the more pee'd off she got:rotfl: Supervisor was lovely though, thats why I'm quitting the beer now as don't want to fly above the radar in case a good glitch comes along again:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

We have been through similar scenarios many, many times and at the end of the day my message to my children is......
"Those people do not deserve the pleasure of your company dear - sit down and watch the olympics and let them go stuff themselves!!!"
Excellent advice and very similar to what I've said to my DD many times in the past few months.....just wish she would listen and stop going back for them to hurt her time after time :heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -
Hi, took my bru back to Asda in two Tesco carrier bags. Used apg, refund in cash, lovey.
Filled my tank after the two orange trips. Could only fit 40l in, I ended up paying £4 for ten orange, some everyday stocking fillers, got some points too. Next time I gonna use 5/40 I think just to get it down a bit.SIMPLES!0 -
Cool. I usually rip them up when they hand them back to me just incase later on I forget I've already used it. Sometimes I go so far as to bin the two halves in separate bins
Well, I don't want some womble picking up my discarded receipts do I? :rotfl::rotfl:
I sometimes do that:eek::eek::eek::o
Glad I'm not the only one:rotfl:0 -
Does anyone please have any Lenor car coupons going to re-cycle bin ?0

Well todays trip to Inversnekkie was a bit of a washout, in more ways than one.
We put the postcode in and off we went, and ended up 10 miles away from where we should have been.
Found it eventually more by good luck than good management.
We went for a much needed loo stop and coffee. Only 2 ladies loos for a brand new store!!!! huge queue and one loo had no paper.
Went into the queue for coffee, and had a 15 min wait to buy 3 coffees, there is only one till, and everyone was waiting for meals, it really was a shambles. People were trying to complain but the complaint slips had run out!!!
Then my daughter text to say the coke was finished. Really cheesed off by now, and couldnt leave the store due to the monsoon that was happening outside.
So spent a small fortune in Debs and French Connection instead. : )
I thought you were talking about T's at first there, then it dawned on me you meant A's. I've only been twice and it's been incredibly busy, as in there was 17 people in the queue for the SS tills and yes I counted them! There's only just enough space at the tills to get your trolly in, the aisles are far to narrow, I could go on...
I have to say I really think they've made a complete hash of it though. It's just too small. I can't believe they didn't realise how popular and busy it was going to be. T's has dominated the area for so many years, the demand for A's was huge. It's like they've been granted the planning permission and just flung it up. Especially if you compare it to the one in Elgin, it's a big store on 2 floors, surely the 'capital' of the Highland should have something at least the same if not bigger?
Anyways, I'll stop there :rotfl:
Did you get to the Community Fare at T's. I took DD this morning for a quick look around, she got a shot on the wee ride thingy and a flower balloon and I got a free burger:cool: Then it started pouring so we ran for the car!
