    Ok, weird question alert!

Have any of you been to a medium?

I am still struggling with how my mum died earlier in the year and a work colleague suggested either grief counselling or a medium.

I can't face grief counselling and don't think it will help.

I've never had any faith in mediums or anything like that but now I'm in this position I am considering it. Or am I just in a vulnerable place and likely to be taken advantage of?

    Hope asking this doesn't offend.

Evening everyone, now caught up with the thread once again,

    Tigerwhite Thank you :)

Had a very busy day, Had to take cat to vets this morning for a minor op, She is back home now and is taking refuge by hiding in the bathroom.
Will have to keep an eye on her as she has not eaten since last night, the vet said that she had turned her nose up at their offerings.

Dad had an appointment so i offered to take him, afterwards i took him shopping to M's.
He spent over £40 so gave me his petrol voucher.:) I already have one that i have not used so this will be donated to someone else in the family.
Not sure if its been mentioned or if its going to be a nationwide thing but all the tills in M's had those voucher machines that are in S's, we got given a £3 off a £55 shop:eek: not as good at the other supermarket offers but they will learn:rotfl:

Had a few errands to run which included a shop at T's.
I had one of those £5 off £40 spend that OH had wombled the other day.
I planned the shop to in corporate it with the petrol promotion too.

Thank you Scarlini who mentioned the reduction of the ambi pur refills.
Took the handful of vouchers i had left for them from the car book at went and had a look on the shelf.
Not at the reduced price on the shelf. SEL said £3,but took 1 to empty checkout and asked the SA to tell me what price they were, £1.50:j got the correct amount for my coupons and they scanned ok, so got them for 50p each.
We dont use them but my dad does so it will save him money.:)

Celebrate if your interested in those they were in extra, ood SEL.

Went and got the items on my shopping list, included wine/robinsons and mayo plus other bits and pieces spread out over a few transactions.
Got the petrol vouchers, although a funny thing happened. When the vouchers were printing the SA had his hand over the printer. " vouchers printed ok but i saw the 3rd one screw up in the machine.
I said to him that their should be another one but he just said that i must have bought the wrong items and he could do nothing:mad:
I said i thought the paper had jammed and he said no it had not. He then opened the machine up and lo and behold my other voucher was in there.

If i had believed him i would have lost out.....

For anyone that has bought the robinsons did you get the "free fun cup" offer coupon that was placed over neck of the bottle??
Wondering if anyone is going to send off for it/if they think its any good??
You do have to send in your receipt and £2 P&P

Thanks, I'll have to try the coupon on them next time I go to T's.

I wonder if the coupon would work on these too,

Flash Wipe & Go Lemon Wipes (48)

They are only a pound so free with coupon. :D

Not sure if they would or not. The wipes I got had 'febreeze' written on them, blue packet with oranges on the label.

You're too vulnerable right now, unless you truly believe in mediums you will always question what they say.

Can you get together with a few of her friends and REALLY talk to them ?

I just got the Garland Crest Grenache together with my Nescafe and Robinsons. Hope the wine won't spoil the compare with Sainsbury's as they don't list it anywhere except Mr Ts at mysupermarket but might Tesco compare it with some random cheap brand of wine at Mr S?

I don't think you ever get over the death of someone so close. You just learn to cope and deal with it better.:A
Be very careful, there are a lot of charlatans out there ready to fleece you

    Hi everyone,

I expect that a lot of us have a £10 BM voucher left over and I've been looking at how to use it productively.

    My ideas so far are

McCain rustic oven chips 50p in S after coupon compared to £1.50 in T's

    Wenches using £1off coupon

    Cravendale

    1 lager

    1 shandy

Anyone else got any more ideas
    Thanks:)

If you can find them... the 50p packs of Totally chocolatey 8 rice krispie squares. (they were £3.60 odd)

Not bought them this week but did last week....S's own brand Gold Blend coffee £2.45 for 200g

They've also still got various hair products RTC
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
