Good news. I followed the helpful advice I received from this forum and Peepipoo. Went to PATAS on Wednesday and won.

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!

What a great result! And thanks for coming back to update us on your final outcome. Would you be able to post up what the adjudicator at PATAS said by any chance?
Edit. Just saw the reasoning on the Pepipoo thread. The adjudicator ruled you were forced to stop by a pedestrian pressing the button at pedestrian lights. I would take this one to the local press as it appears to me that this is being used as a moneypit by TfL."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
