Definately worth appealing, I take it that its a council ticket you have had ?
Best advice would be to goto http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30 for excellent advice from the bods on there, there are a few means of thwarting box junction tickets, you'll get all the help you need on there.
You will need to post your pcn - remove your details and reg marks - for them to advise correctly. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
Worth a punt but remember you shouldn't enter a box junction unless you know your exit is clear, unless turning right and prevented from doing so by oncoming traffic. It could be argued that because you were following another car you wouldn't be in a position to anticipate whether your exit would be clear or not.0

From the road I came out of you cannot see the box junction until you are on it. Plus there is a set of traffic lights just off the bend that you cannot see until you turn. So you don't get to make a choice.0

Correction to my original post. It was a left turn.0

Stanthorpe Road SW16 left into Streatham High Road.0

Has the junction changed dramatically since streetview was taken?0

Yes it has. There is now a set of traffic lights by the "T".0

I can't see how you can say you didn't see that box junction until you were on top of it. :huh:Stanthorpe Road SW16 left into Streatham High Road.
I'm failing to see any defence here. You entered a box juntion to turn left whilst your exit was not clear, seems like a clear infringement to me.0
