Congratulations, well done for persisting
Thanks. They didnt actually say, we are in the wrong, but as they have given us the tickets, I kinda see that as them putting their hands up and saying, yup, you got us!!
I have tried to PM the original poster, but have had no joy, hope they come back on before their hols so that I can share what we did!!Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!0 -
Well, just to let you know, we have had a result. After a couple of phone calls and an email to the customer services manager we have now got unlimited passes to the water park for the week!
excellent - so glad it worked out for you.
most of the time I don't have a lot of sympathy when T&Cs aren't reviewed and travellers are disappointed...but in this case, I do think it's crazy to bury the fact that something that's highlighted as being included isn't in some cases.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Not sure if you want to pursue this further but you could inform the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) who have the power to order TC to alter the website so as not to mislead0

How is this for ironic??
Went out on Sunday for a drink, slipped on a wet patch on the floor, broke my wrist badly enough to need surgery and had to cancel the holiday because I cant fly!!!
After all the trauma of the booking etc, we couldnt go anyway!!
We have travel insurance through our bank, but it cant make up for the absolute disappointment on my sons face when I had to tell him we couldnt go on holiday. He was gutted, not only was he looking forward to the water park, but because its his first holiday abroad. We wont be able to go anywhere else this year because my husband doesnt have any holiday left, so will be next year now.
I did look at Euro Disney for a couple of days, but I dont think it would be very relaxing!!!
anyone got a yacht we can go on for a few days please???Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!0 -
At least you have insurance and its going to pay out. Had a customer yesterday broke her knee, she was going on holiday next friday and now she can't, so luckily she has insurance, but they won't payout it doesn't cover her until the day before she goes, ooh dear should have read the t+cs on purchasing.0

hope it wasn't sold to her by the travel agent0
