  • Hi,
Myself and my partner stupidly wondered into these sharks path, we said from the start that we didn't want to pay their £69 fee, yet they took it anyway, I emailed them twice (stupidly not getting a screenshot) to no avail so we went through the bank and explained the situation, the bank then refunded it, we then got a letter saying that PMC had proof that we agreed to it and today (26/10/2012) have re-debited the money from our account, I've emailed them (and got screenshot) of the email. What else can I do to get our money back?

It is no good e-mailing them. You have to follow their T & C's - write to them. You should eventually get most of your money back.

In future never reveal your bank card details to lenders or brokers; decent one won't ask until after the loan has been agreed
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Oh, I don't know. How about writing to them like it says in the t&cs?

Don't email, don't phone, don't text, don't tweet, blog, like, share or digg. Just write.

I really am trying to stay sympathetic, but all the answers are in the posts above.

It is so sad to hear from you. There are various fraud companies are in market but some reputed company offer better loan services like loans without lender and broker.

eeh? again in english please? :)
every time I manage to get one more breath into this body, I will sing a song of thanks to you my brothers, my sisters, my friends, may your sleep be peaceful, and angels sing sweetly in your ears.
  • Help please, I didn't realise these where loan sharks. They took my debit card details for a £1 ID Check fee and told me my card had been declined. Phoned up to check they had taken the £1. typed them in to google and up came this Thread. Im worried there going to charge me the £69 fee. If I cancel my Debit Card will this stop them taking payment..

    Thanks

Listen to apples, she knows her onions, he may come across as a bit harsh and sharp but she speaks the truth.

I doubt it, you need to contact them, it might say on the website how to cancel/get a refund.

Not the amount maybe, but they do tell you about "a fee" in conditions 11, 12, & 13 of their T&Cs...

If you've subsequently gone on to apply for the loan you won't be able to avoid the fee. Read the above T&Cs to see how to stop them taking payment if you haven't already made the application.
