If You wish to cancel your application, You must write to Priority Money Club Limited notifying us.

Why bother sending them an e-mail - which they will probably ignore? If you are serious about getting your money back you must do exactly what they stipulate in their terms and conditions.

You may need to open a new bank account and get new phone numbers as once 1 broker has your details there usually passed around, sorry to be extreme but this is what happens

No it doesn't. That would simply be fraud.

Don't waste time on emails and phone calls. As already advised you will only get your money back if you write to them recorded delivery.

Here is what happens when like a lot of people who are looking for a loan they do not read the terms and conditions of the site,

But do not ever give you bank details out to a company you have never fully checked out...

This could of been a scam site and your account could of been emptied....you have been lucky in a way..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

please, why did you email them?

The company themselves, and all the experienceed people on this site clearly advised you to write in to claim your refund.

It is sad, but the company are playing on your actions and all the while you are cursing them they are holding onto your £69.

At least you haven't called them out as theives and claimed that they have committed fraudulent activity, for that you get credit.

Good luck in claiming your refund.

OP sort your finances out first, no need to break the bank for the girls birthdays (and not reason for a loan).
  • When you apply to these .... delightful ..... people .... they pass your details round any lender in the market. They then contact you and offer you a loan. As far as Priority Money are concerned they have done their job. They explained there was a fee for their service - you agreed. Even if you don't take a loan out with the lender they will still take the fee - and be entitled to it.

By all means challenge them - if you didn't take a loan with one of their companies you might get the money back. But to be honest you're probably best to tighten your belt for a couple of weeks and learn from this lesson.

Anything in the house worth £70 in the meantime??? You say you have kids - old toys etc are worth something to other people. You never know how much money you might be sitting on in unused toys. My daughter isn't even 2 and we raised £200 selling her old baby stuff!!!

Why would a loan broker need to check your details. It is not them who would be lending you money. It would be the lender that would need to do any checking necessary..

Fee charging is a common practice with brokers. Some charge over £100 and you usually get nothing in return.

By law the company is legally only allowed to keep a £5 administration fee if they don't provide you with a loan. You need to write to them and request the refund asap.

These companies are sometimes very difficult to get money out of. If you have continued troubles then raise the issue with the financial ombudsman (financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.html)
