    The lies are a side issue here- there is no way I would hang about and be 'second best' to an ex.

    He clearly will never put you first, get out of there while you still have your self-respect. he will soon realise what he has missed out on

    He's playing mind games with you honey - DO NOT LET HIM make you feel this is your fault!! Things like that should never be said between two people who supposedly love each other - whether it was the truth or not!! Keep walking in the opposite direction to him.
    Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass :)

    I'm back here because I have no where to go I'm over 300 miles away from anyone I know, he emptied the joint accounts so I've no money to get anywhere until next week anyway. I think I just needed someone to tell me I wasnt "crazy"

    Set up your own account and arrange for your salary to be paid into it.
    I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

    Where are you staying at the moment?

    At least you have a week to get to the bank and get any of your money redirected to a new account.

    The fact he has emptied the joint accounts already speaks volumes about him :(

    No my money goes in my own account but its not due until next week. Because I don't work etc we had he joint account so I could use "his" money when he was working (until we moved here he was away 5 days a week)
