I didn't find too funny either, but I think KS simply meant no, not 15mm, what the other guy is on I don't know;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Someone posted about only having to isolate or drain the 1 rad.
What was said isn't quite true, this being an upper floor rad all water at the same level as the pipes will empty back which is why I find it best to lock down all rads on the top floor in this case, to reduce the amount of water lost ;)

not necessarly if i am doing a full heating system i fit doc rad valves to all the rads, because if you leave the lockshield open it will drain the heating but if you turn the locksheild off & open the mt c.ock it will just drain the rad, much easier for the customer at a later date if they want to remove the rad to decorate. btw i am talking about the ones with the mt c.ock on the end not the stupid ones inbetween the rad & the valve that need a bleed key to open.
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

Right Keith, with you now, but you are a rare plumber, not many go to that trouble on install, and I was assuming they hadn't for the op ;);)
