What does he do?! I worked for a management consultancy who are known to be notorious slave drivers but it was never like this!

there is literally NO work here at the mo, a lot of the ads in the jobcentres involve travel, out of the frying pan into the fire,

it prob will go on indefinetly

he is lucky to have a job, he was made redundant a few years ago, and i had to take on 5 (yes 5) jobs to keep us all,

the last thing i want is to moan and yap that much about it, that he quits, and then where does that leave us

thanks for listening everyone, thanks for all the advice and letting me know i am not the only one,

if you do think this might go on indefinitely, then you really do both have to make a firm plan to book time off together and mean it. Nowt wrong with a caravan in November if that gives you 2 or 3 days together.

there are very few sites in Ireland that open 12 months of the year, those that do are 200+ miles away,

will think of something, i think annual leave for me during the week will have to be the answer, or part of it,

    thanks for your replies x

13 years left on our mortgage

I know I am lucky and can see an end to this. But as has been said you have to have a goal and if I didn't have one I really would be climbing the walls. At the moment I am only half way up :D

DH is going to take 5 days off over the bank holiday and I really hope that will help as he is really down at the moment and I have never known him like this.

I really hope you can get some quality time with your DH soon as it really sounds like you both can do with it.

Congratulations on your weight loss what a fantastic achievement :T

Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice
