  • Thanks. I will keep you posted. One of my friends received 8 of these PCNs for parking in Asda. He was advised to ignore all of them and nothing has come of it. Thanks again for advice. :-)

That generally is what happens, most of these companies do not do court as its economically not worth their while, hence why there are so few cases. There is on average about 1 a week across the entire industry, they issue almost 35,000 fake tickets a week
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

I also found another one where it claims the 'defendant ' apparently list his case.
I found another one with sketchy details.. Apparently the case went in favour of parking eye..

CASE 7 - PARKINGEYE LIMITED v MR MOAZEEM HOSSAIN
Clerkenwell & Shoreditch County Court 22nd November 2011 claim number 1XJ81956

You are right about sketchy details, this one stinks.

I recall it - there was a post on pepipoo or CAG, the poster got advice and a defence when the case went to a small claim (which is very very rare to ever happen). The OP was not contactable after that, not even on Facebook I seem to recall where he had posted a comment like 'off to Small Claims today'. Strange there was no follow up comment.

The pepipoo posters were then asking him to post again so they could see where the defence (IF there was a proper defence) was misunderstood by the judge as there was a very good chance of getting the judgment set aside.

But he never posted again which is odd if he was a genuine newbie poster - he should have been very narked about the outcome, should have ranted on the forum or asked for help to appeal - but nothing. Just a bit of crowing from UKCPS on here.

Stooge case I put it down to, never heard about it again.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Misinformation and malice isn't a good combination. :(
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

Yup remember this one I kept an eye on his twitter and facebook accounts for a while, not a mention of anything.
I am sure if he had been caned for £2.5K he would have had a moan or two!
  • Now Roxbourghe are calling me every day..! Is it best to ignore or to answer and tell them to stop calling? Their calls are disrupting my day.

Simply deny the "debt" and instruct them to put all further correspondence on paper - After that, it is illegal for them to continue calling you. :)

now come on, hold your nerve, this is what ppcs rely on,,now listen,, you have recieveda FAKE ticket,,so why are you worrying about holding your nerve,,,most posts dont say ,,ignore,,all posts do, unless these cowboys actually commence court proceedings, even if they do , they are on a loser, they, know, we know, now you do,if ur concerned about them in the past winning a case,, oh yes, as they sent their own employee as a stooge to plead guilty, please worry not, its a SCAM.
  • Ok thanks for that.. Nerves have been given a talking to. :-)

It all makes sense re the stooged case. I suspect they wanted to know what advice was given by helpful and genuine people on these fora.. As I said before.. Despicable !
I will give them a piece if my mind if they call again.. They are using different numbers every time but I know it's them.

paperbackwriter I would suggest you keep a note of how often they are calling you, you may have a case for harassment
