When my son left his comprehensive school because of bullying, we sent the headmaster his school tie - cut into little bits!
My GS had a terrible time at his first comp - The staff were awful to him (he has Aspergers Syndrome) and punished him for the tiniest things - when he left my DD had a chocolate teapot made and sent it to the headmistress with a note that read 'this is how useful you were'.
I think the turd is taking it a little too far - unless you send a joke one? I do know how you feel - revenge (even petty revenge) can be sweet!

A friend of my parents didn't ever tip maggots through the letter box of a large chain shop because of the horrible service, so I wouldn't suggest that because we wouldn't know that the maggots turn into dirty big blue bottles.

I do like the letter idea, how ridiculos it is that she gets to retire on a big fat pension while your son struggled to overcome her bullying and that she tried to keep him down to stop him from doing well

I hadn't realised quite how many evil geniuses (genuii?) were lurking on MSE, thank you all ;)

Zak's mum, I think I marked our cards the first week she arrived. When she changed the school uniform from cheap-as-chips-and-very-practical red polo top and generic jumper to white polo top and sweatshirt with logo and I wrote her a very nice letter explaining the practicalities and got a snotty one back. DS struggled academically but he's very quiet and shy and not a tearaway if that's what you meant ;)

Mr Cow, I did consider involving the education authorities 4 years ago but wanted a clean break as we were leaving the area, it has only reentered my psyche as a new workmate has children at the same school but thanks anyway :p

    I agree. These all sound:

    a. cowardly
    b. idiotic

Why don't you grow a pair and deal with the situation like an adult?

If you think someone has behaved incorrectly or unprofessionally, then challenge them appropriately.

Why wait 4 years and then sneak around playing idiotic pranks like you have something to hide? I can't believe others here are supporting you like it's something clever.

Snooze......... I doubt OP is actually going to do any of them! It was more just her venting and imagining all the fun ways to get her own back!

Or you could grow a sense of humour. :D Cheery smiley to soften the blow. ;)
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

I wouldnt even waste my time thinking about what she is doing now and what happended and what I coudl do about it etc etc. In life we all have to deal with unpleasent people. A strong person will forget it all and know that they have better things to do with their time than play games and dish out 'revenge'.

It's not about having a sense of humour (or lack of). It's about sticking up for your kids. So many people gripe about teachers/headteachers and what a crap job they do. Standing around in the playground with their petty little friends gossiping away. Of course that's not you, or anyone else on this thread (it's always someone else isn't it?)

If someone in authority is genuinely behaving in a way that they shouldn't, then they should be brought to task over it. It is about growing a pair. If something needs doing, then do it right.

Did your son do anything to merit the head teacher's behaviour towards him?

What on earth could an infant do to merit a head teacher making his life a misery??

When my eldest DD was in her first year at primary school there was one teacher who took delight in making a home-sick, weeping child sit in the middle of a circle while all the other little ones stood around pointing and laughing at 'the baby'. That's not what I consider to be the behaviour of any adult, never mind a teacher!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I am loving that idea, I had never thought of crickets before, may have to use that idea at some point :T

Someone I know split up with his OH just after Christmas. She kept geckos and took the vivarium doobrey with her. Unfortunately, at some point, some gecko food had escaped and he discovered they were living wild around the house and weren't actually making the racket in the tank.

Last time I heard, he had tried every type of bug spray he could find, but still couldn't find the locus of the population.

The locus of the locusts, even.

And I wouldn't dream of suggesting that casters (the red chrysali, also available from the fishing tackle shop) would be far more effective, as they are small and silent and dark, so go unnoticed in the corners until they hatch, compared to wiggling white maggots.
