Morning All,
Very wet here today, no chance of pegging out but will have to wash and hang on the maiden. DS3 has managed to get grass staind on his brand new jeans that he insisted spending a fortune on in T@p SH@p and then rolled around in the garden in them:mad: rant over.
Today I need to pop to the local shops and get some envelopes and packing stuff for ebay. They are much cheaper there.
Tea will be a freezer dive tonight, no idea what yet, but mine will be with salad, 11 pounds off so far hoping to reach a stone in the next couple of weeks.:D
AF visiting with a vengeance at the mo so will pop some pills before I venture anywhere.
Then rest of the day will be spent on work on the laptop.
Have a good day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning All
Congratulations Adelight, what a fantastic result.
JackieO - Hope today is a little more restful and DGS is ok.
So far this morning I have put together the slats on the bed in the bedroom of doom (DD helped me move it yesterday). The slats are all screwed in and there are 60 in all! I have also put the washing out but probably not for long, made DDs packed lunch and varnished the mirror I have distressed. Got the mirror for nothing but it was a really dark wood. It is now cream and distressed and doesn't look too bad (secretly quite pleased!).
Builder has just phoned to say he will be here to fix the roof and the hole in the bedroom wall (all from the fire) so better get showered and dressed!
Hope everyone is well. Take care. XX0 -
Shortcrust pastry is defrosting ready for me to make little bacon and egg pies and Homity pies later. Both DDs off to work , one .
with home made chicken and veg pasta salad in lock and lock box.
Youngest is on holiday with friends and very excited so quiet here this morning. Waiting for man from BG to look at haunted pipes which wail like a Banshee. He came yesterday and replaced a valve thing in the loft but said he might need to come back. Have hospital appointment with DH at 4 so hope things get fixed this morning with pipes etc.
Having a cuppa and trying not to panic over AF order as think I managed to get the last few jars of new potatoes. Temptation to browse for more tins etc is getting irresistable. DH always thinks cupboards are crammed with stuff but has no idea how fast things get used up with five of us, sometimes six or seven.
Very pleased I had a few 2 litre bottles of water a couple of days ago as I turned the kitchen tap on and nothing happened. Neighbour was having work done and seems we share a main stopc**k. We were able to have a cup of tea even with no water for a few hours.

Morning everybody,
Ive been absent from the board for some time, but now Im back.
Have decided to get the flat ready to sell so am in the early stages of sorting/boxing/gifting/throwing away etc. Surprising how much stuff you can cram into a 2 bed flat over 24 years!
Meeting a friend for coffee this morning, bit of shopping, home for more sorting then off to work this evening. In between putting slow cooker on (bolognaise), loading WM, etc etc
Hope everyone has a great day today, see you all later

Morning :hello:
Adelight
I always do the edges first on a jigsaw, then work my way in. I was going to pick up a couple of new ones from a shop til I saw the prices  My mum picks them up from fetes and charity shops instead, for up to £2 each.
Daisy is much better, eating and drinking normally now and has her strength back. I'm still cleaning her mouth out and giving her painkillers. She has one more appointment at the vet tonight for a shot of antibiotics, then that's it. Just as well, the bank balance is almost back to £0
I learned a lesson yesterday - don't relax, it lets all the germs inBy lunchtime I was really tired, by 4pm I was achy and by bedtime I was out of breath just going up the stairs
This morning I'm feeling old and worn out, my hair looked fine last night but today it looks like I've dipped my head in oil. The only reason I got out of bed was to be able to breathe properly, the bedroom was so stuffy. I have plenty of fruit in the kitchen so I'll nibble on that all day long.
I had plans for today but for now I'm just trying to summon the energy to have a showerBulletproof0 -
Morning everyone,
Raining here, well bucketing down more like it.
Sausages, mash and vegs for tea.
HM soup and rolls for lunch.
I have been having problems with my left shoulder for about 6 months, cant move it properly and it hurts if I lift anything heavy with it.
.Went to the Drs about 4 weeks ago and he sent me for an xray.
Had to see him yesterday for some tablets and he mentioned my xray and said I have osteroarthritis in that shoulder, and has booked me for a US guided injection for it at the hospital in four weeks
. Told me too try and not use it too much and I will have my arm in a sling for about a week. Then said do you need time off work for awhile to rest it,I said no lost my job last week he said oh good
I know he didnt mean it but he was quite embarrassed after he said it.
So for now I dont think I can look for a job not that there is any out there. So I will just keep selling my stuff on ebay .

Hi all.
Adelight Congratulations; brilliant result!:beer::beer::beer:
Elona it's a bit much when you have to use asterisks in order to get a perfectly normal plumbing term past the smut filter on the site, isn't it?:D
Tru you're so right – I think it's the adrenalin that stops you falling victim to colds/headaches/whatever. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.:o
Whinge alert - feel free to skip this.:(
I'm fed up. Uber fed up. Alarm clock made me jump out of my skin this morning - literally jump, such that I jarred my wretched shoulder again, enough to make me scream with pain. The physio-terrorist says the errant rib is gradually going back into place, but if that's so, why does it still hurt just as much?? As if that's not enough, my left knee (the one I hurt in the car crash in 1990) is playing me up big time, and I can't put any weight on it.
I kid you not, I honestly feel like saving my DLA (at least til the Government pull that rug out from under me) to buy a one-way ticket to Switzerland.:(:(:(
OK, it's safe to come out from behind the sofa now - whinge over.:o
The OS bit - I've done a machine-full of washing, which Mr LW hung outside before he went to work. Getting it in will involve stationing the wheeled washing cart under the line, reaching up with my good hand to remove the pegs, and letting gravity do the rest!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Afternoon all,
Was sunny, but at least it's dry. Must get the washing in. Made welsh cakes, teabread and a quiche. Making sarnies later for people coming this afternoon. The Olympic Torch is coming right past my house at 6pm, then we are going over the gardens nearby, to watch a big screen and see it arrive in Hastings!:T Really looking forward to it, not something that will ever happen again in my lifetime:T
Tru- Hope you feel better.
Sistercas Hope puddy tat is also feeling better!
