Got another £27 to add to my own personal total. As I got my car tax rebate for £27.

So not a bad month all in all. Mind you I have spent half of it already on card making supplies :o

Well done calley! :j Er .... you haven't *spent* half of it .... you have *invested* half of it on your card making supplies ;):D

I believe this April "sticky" will be un-stuck sometime today/night because we now have the May one ready to run.

That doesn't mean you can't post your April totals!
Take omega as an example, in May, her starting balance is her April total: £106.32 In June, her starting balance will be the £106.32 from April plus her May total.

A quiet month for PIN money this month-only managed to save £44.78 so grand total since beginning of year is now £275.64. However have spent £150.00 of that this last month on Easter holiday and covering expenses in London whilst Hubby ran the Marathon-still if i hadn;t had it put by it would have had to of come out of our monthly income instead-now need to accumulate it back up ready for summer holiday in August so rolling total going forward is £125.64

Jane - I like your attitude!
still if i hadn;t had it put by it would have had to of come out of our monthly income instead
that really is a "traditional" usage of pin money!

The point is just as you said: because you had it put by, you didn't have to rely on or dip in to your monthly income! Or worse still, find that amount through credit!!!!

Pin money is as much an "emergency fund" as a goal target amount. Very well done, indeed! If you keep up the way you are going, you will soon recoup that money in the 4 months target you have set yourself. BRAVO!!!

Psst!!!! May I just add, while you may refer to your £44.78 as a "quiet month", trust me, some others would bite your hand off to be able to have actual savings of even 78p! Believe me, lady, you're doing GREAT! :D Don't put yourself down by assuming that £44.78 isn't anything to boast of - I think you are a classic example of a pin money success!! :D:D:D Keep up the good work!

    Refund of mortgage payment £227.99
    Car Tax refund £27
    Dividends £18

    April Household Total :£272.99

But had a quote for the central heating of £4800

So guess where all the pin money is going. Yes to be able to have central heating put in later in the year.

As we moved we did have refunds of council tax etc but we had to pay extra council tax and insurance etc. So I have not included them.
