Im on my third letter.
The "Final Demand Before Court Action" "Failure to pay this notice will result in court proceedings"
I have noticed that not all of these are on the relevant sticky thread. When I can get near a scanner I will get these things posted up(minus personal details)
There a couple of amusing things in this letter, first they are addressing it to the owner rather than the driver. But insisting in red lettering liability lies with the driver.
Secondly, according to there own figures the cost of court proceedings etc would be £70. Which adding in there loss off earnings if I was to lose, a few quid. Would it not be cheaper to get taken to court AND lose than pay there invoice?

Absolutely, not that this has stopped me sorting out a legal defense.
I am happy to spend more than the value of the invoice for no other reason than to be a pain in there !!!!!0 -

Hi, Im really new to this forum..
Ive recently received a parking fine from VCN which was At Doncaster Airport. I rang Citizan advise for some information. I was not the driver at the time of the photo being taken, Citz advise say they have to prove that I was driving, is this correct? We only stopped for a couple of minutes. Ive read quite a lot of sites saying ignore these letters.. I am a worrier just need reasurring Thanks.0 -
You are reassured, IGNORE it is an impersonation of authority fake ticket, or "invoice" for the correct term.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
