Maz, maybe you should try your shake a bit earlier...you are supposed to eat as soon as you get up....stimulates the metabolism don't ya know....(I had mine at seven, another at 1 and then another at 6 (or later if i had a run) then I had a bit of cottage cheese or chicken if I got the munchies later on.

But then its worked for you so far, if its not broke don't fix it...but I am thinking give it a go for a week....

doesnt thaqt make you hungry for the rest of the day? i try and eat as late as i can (dont feel so hungry in the morning) but come lunch time and the rest of the day i am starving.

maybe i am doing it wrong?

didn't for me...but then I forced myself to have a shake in the morning and I gradually got used to it. I found I wasn't that hungry at night at all....

It is good practise for when you eventually start on real food to get used to eating breakfast.....it does stimulate the metabolism and regulates blood sugar so you don't get highs and lows just a steady flow of energy...

Exactly....I only say it cos I have noticed lately that I have been getting a bit slack having my first shake in the morning and thinking I will have it when I get to work, getting into work and forgetting and consequently having it about 11.30......I then seem to be starving later on in the day when that doesn't happen when I eat at regular intervals starting earlier in the morning.

i suppose the earlier you start the less danger of missing out the 3rd pack of the day, especially if you're on SS+....... so worth considering for you Mrs Alf...
