Wow, clever cookie the papster! By the way, the youtube lady only started CD episode 11 or 12 of her blog i think. Up til then she's trying other stuff. Tesco diets pants then?
Ahhh not clever, I think I learnt it form some fabby internet site when I was setting up an html website. Ahhh I will skip to those now then as I am running out of time just now but I will go back and listen to all her others as she is one amazing lady, so confident too0 -
Well, it's 9.20pm and i haven't had one hunger pang since this morning! Also, i've been giggling like a moron all day, and i noticed my heart rate was slightly faster. Not drastically, but it has sped up by a fraction. Is that normal?Still to go: 24lbs:think:0

I darent look at the blogs, I spend enough time on here without getting addicted to something else!!
I'm sorry to hear about your hubby spud. Havent any suggestions for that I'm afraid, I have had bouts of it but it clears up quite quickly. It may just be his system getting used to the change, does he suffer with this much normally?
Hi Maggie, I find that happens when I try and go back to a different page, to look up what I am replying to.
Thats why sometimes now I post a few messages on the run, cos I have to keep going back especially if I havent been on for a while.
Poggy, well done on your 3lb, if you are showing five on yours it will come back to you sooner or later. your weight will change all the time through the day.
I am very impressed with the linky thing, Am very illiterate, only just worked out how to quote a previous post.
Bounce - its all that "Goood Feeeling" from dropping the carbs and feeling more energetic.
I've been eating toast this week as I have been feeling a bit sick, but you can't half feel how much it bloats you.
I was ambushed tonight! Thai Chicken curry and rice, left on the stove by my mum "to taste", drinking lots of water now to flush it through - oh dear!0 -
No he doesnt usually suffer Dunc. I think we'll have to see what CDC says later today. I suppose he might have to stop CD if it doesnt improve. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

That would be a shame, especially if he is doing so well with sticking to it.
In the book it has different plans, for some people they suggest starting at a higher plan say 1500 cal, and then working your way down through the plans to SS, maybe that would be an option. It wouldn't be so much of a shock to the system. He will still get losses, maybe not so dramatic at first, but he would get there in the end!
Have you got your treadmill yet and started any running?
I havent done any so far this week, have had a migraine earlier on in the week, and the last two nights have been spent catching up on homework with my son. Need to get back on track tonight.
WI today, havent lost a lb, not even a half a lb, stuck resolutely at 13st, just half a lb would have taken me to 12 something. Maybe its me, Last year I got down to 13 st and just stuck and never managed to break through the barrier. Anyway, this year is different. I have all my diet buddies on here to help me and actually feel quite good, all things considered.
I havent had a good week with one thing and another, and must admit to getting a little complacent and picking.
Its given me a good shake up and I need to get through at least the next four days completey SS.
Hope everyone else is doing OK!0 -
I brought the treadie home with me Dunc
I've been doing at least 40 minutes every other day, fast walking rather than running. I did an hour on Wednesday at 5.5kph :T
I've got my WI this afternoon. Dont feel very positive about it, even though I havent cheated, I dont feel any different.
Stick to it this week, and fingers crossed you'll break through your barrierIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I think your body takes a little while to catch up.
My mum actually said I looked better this morning - yet there is no loss on the scales for this week.
If you havent cheated I am sure you will do well - looking forward to hearing about it, its got to be better than mine, and it will cheer me up to know you are doing well.
Good luck for your hubbie too.
And well done on your walking, I really find it makes me feel better - I'd rather be doing that than HW with son - he is a right nark and we always end up having rows.0 -
My son's a bit like that too. He's got SATs coming up very soon, but getting him to revise is a nightmare.
There really arent enough hours in the day are there. I've got work with him to do, I'd like to do at least an hour on the treadie, I've got me own college work to do, plus regular work and chatting on here
I havent cheated, but have been tempted this week. Fingers crossed for a nice WI todayIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
