Sunday 5.30pm after work. I finish at 5pm so I am going to get washed and changed in work and go from there. The cdc sounds amazing though, we have been emailing each other for 3 weeks now, and she told me I sound like the most determind client she has ever known :j No pressure then :rotfl:

    morning guys ....

Sue - a stay the same is better than a gain innit?! and if you know you haven't been as good as you could have been then maybe no surprise... but a shake up is good if it makes you focus for next week.

Spud - good luck for weigh in, i predict -4lbs for you, and -10lbs for Nick...!

Pap - said it already but great news you're on board! welcome to the CD show!!!! it's a soap opera in here!

I've been swimming this morning before work... rather good but means a bad hair day for the remainder of the day as nowhere to plug straighteners in!!

Tried to buy myself a nice cappucino this morning but was thwarted by shops not open.... I was in a bakers this morning but their machine was broken and i was sooooo tempted but in the end i walked out empty handed...

I've had a cuppa tea, but it wasn't the same as a cappucino or a pancake... but i suppose the pancake would have been deadly! So another minor triumph in avoiding temptation....

off to have choc tetra soon as ravenous, always am after a swim...! (cue old me, 1litre of fresh oj and 2 croissants!)
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Well fingers crossed for you, I have done this diet a couple of times before, and tried many, many others.
I am starting my 6th week, although I can't claim to have been angelic, I am still here and feeling pretty positive about carrying on.

I still say this forum is what has kept me going and has been the big difference between this time and all the others.

You keep up that positive attitude, the journey is full of extreme highs and lows, but keep on letting us know how you are doing.

Good Luck, I love it when someone new is "converted".

Do you know what Maz, you are our cheif motivator! I know, don't want to put you under any pressure, but you are doing so well.:T

Have no idea why I feel so good about the diet this morning, but will be going home for my run and a long walk with Dunc, and am looking forward to the WE.

Yesterday, I was ready for a weekend off and planning a trip to the chippie.

It probably has a lot to do with feeling ill at the beginning of the week, but feeling much better now, onwards and upwards as they say, or should that be downwards, weightwise I mean;)
  • Maz ~ Thanks :j As you know I have read/been reading this for quite a while and I think this thread will be a second home now. You are all amazing :j Fab swimming for you, shame you couldnt get a cappucino though  Enjoy your tetra :j

Duncun ~ Wow you must know loads then. I will keep posting and hopefully see some results soon. Lol 'converted' it sounds like I am entering a cult of something :rotfl:

Sue - chief motivator my aaarse!!

I was just saying the same thing to PAP, i feel kinda responsible to make this work now i've come this far and am taking other people on the journey with me now....

everyone hears about the diet from someone and is inspired by someone, it was sammy who brought it to my attention... i'd honestly never heard of it before.. i'd heard of LL (pah!) but not CD.... i don't mind being a little bit inspirational to people if they like... but i'm still only part way thru the journey myself really... i've got a long wya to go...

Thanks anyway, what a nice thing to say, has given me focus in an otherwise slow CD week...

I wasn't going to fess up about this but i hopped on scales again this morning at leisure centre, to see if the 12 12 of yesterday was still there or if i was dreaming, it was still there, so surely CDC's will say same or less on sunday... gawd i hope so! i'm like you Sue, stuck waiting to get into the 12stone somethings!

Anyone watch biggest loser all week? i caught up last night.... no weigh in til monday for them! anyone got any faves? i like the green team!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
