Evening everyone, missed you all I think, Have been out all day, but had to log in for the Friday WI's.;)

Well Maz, we both lost the wager then eh!

12lb, thats absolutely wonderfully amazingly stunningly fantastic!:T

6lb too from Caz, well done you, 6lb, its nearly half a stone, on SS+ thats great.:T

Welcome the other James, Annie, OK, I can't remember all 5 pages of posts now, I hate it when you miss a few hours:confused:

Alpha, I have to know if Mr Alpha let you body brush him, wonder if Mr Duncan would let me do it to him. Thinking about it he probably would.
I picked up a new body brush at body shop in Euston station. I like the hand held ones but they only had one with a handle on, but it had nice firm bristles.

Well I had my wi this morning, which I wasn't looking forward to after my disastrous week, well I managed 2.5lb, which takes me to 1st, 5lb. I'd have loved the extra 0.5 lb that would have just taken me under 13st, but I suppose you really have to work a bit harder to deserve it!!

:j:jI completed day 5 of the running programme in between getting in and going back out :j:j so I am feeling pretty chuffed with that:j:j

Especially as I have had a day off CD. I had to go to London, and eat with clients, Bread is the devil....It makes you feel soooo bloated. But I knew in advance it was going to have to happen.
It was also my great uncles 80th birthday, which I hadnt realised was a sit down meal, so ended up having pate and lasagne.
But feel pretty good about it (and pretty full still) but quite ready to get back on SS tomorrow.
I think the exercise is helping to keep me focused.

Well its probably good morning ALL by now, so
Good Morning, I'm off to bed now.

Got a friend's birthday party to go to tonight and have been planning to break the diet and have a bit to eat and drink since I started this three weeks ago. Thought I would be really excited to be eating something today but actually I'm not that fussed. Think its because I don't want to spoil the hard work I've done so far. Am only going to pick at a few bits and have a couple of glasses of wine then straight back into the diet tomorrow. Weigh in is Thursday so hopefully won't have done too much damage. Have a good day everyone.

Hi Goldfinch, hope you don't mind me butting in (I'm a LL girl not a CDer, lol), but I wondered if you really wanted to break your fantastic run of losses by eating and drinking at a party, when you might feel that you need to have a drink/food to "fit in" with what other people are doing, and not draw attention to yourself. Personally, I've found when being out at parties that actually noone really notices or cares that you're only on water (have sparkly water and you can nearly pretend it's a G&T, lol) and with food, maybe say to people that you had a huge dinner before going out so you might pick a bit later.

Just a thought and have fun at the party :)

Dunc - he has promised to let me :D

We may both be taking a break from the diet today as had an increadibly stressful day yesterday and just want to relax for a day. Although i am not 100% convinced that this is the way to go i will not feel guilty if this is what we both decide we need for today.

    Everyone is doing so well!!

The other James - My OH lost 12 pounds in his first week as did I so it is doable!! and our first week as a weigh in of 6 days not 7!! :D

Dunc keep running girl! I have made it my mission to get my pups out and walking now as they are big enough for serious excercise now and so are we ;)

Hi all the new faces we seem to have, i have missed a few days (although did read all the pagesyou forget who said what) :p
If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:
  • Good Morning CD'ers.

How are you all doing??? I hope you are all doing well.

I can't keep up with the thread............So busy. and I have been busy too so haven't been able to log in as much as i'd like. booooooooooooooooooooooo!

Well one or 2 of you might notice that my loss has changed in my sig. Thats because when i weighed in it was very early on day 6 so I decided to call in to CDC and get weighed again at the proper time and the result is 10lb. I don;t understand how i managed to lose 3lb in just under 48hours though.

anyway Love and hugs to you all. well done to all you losers.

    Lisa xxxx

10lb is great Lisa, well done.
Your weight fluctuates quite a lot duing any day. Some peoples will fluctuate more than others.
My weight can go up and down by half a stone over the weekend, the best thing is to WI in at same time each week.

Have a fab Saturday, everyone, just going to make my shake, black coffee and a tonne of water for breakfast.

    See you soon.
