It's great that you're not feeling hunger hun... the water intake does become second nature and the peeing slows down... i have been known to pee in the house and not pee again til lunchtime at work, so it does settle down, and i usually drink a litre in the am

It'll be fine. I'm sure it'll settle down soon enough.

I meant to say earlier, your dogs are absolutely gorgeous hun :D

Keep going Lisa. Justt imagine how great you'll feel at weigh in next week ;)

    I WILL refrain.

I'm feeling really liberated by the whole thing. Food will no longer have that power over me. As I said earlier, I thought going to do the food shop would be hard, but it wasnt

I think my biggest fear is the reaction of friends/colleagues etc. It isnt the kind of diet you can keep secret really is it.

i know what you mean, i only tell those who really need to know....

re preparation at work, tetras are good for that and although it looks a bit wierd sucking on a kids sized chocolate milk looking thing, it's relatively discreet...

however i do always whip out my blender and jug in the kitchen and do it really quick so hoping that noone comes in!!!

depends on the kinda place you work and the hours you do... luckily my place is not the most sociable place so no great issues....

i've mentioned diet and it's obvious after 3 stones but not gone into any detail......
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • Only my husband knows I am on CD. I'm not telling anyone. DD kind of knows but I have told her not to mention my diet to anyone, I'm not so sure that will last though lol.

As I work from home I wont have any questions asked. the only thing is is when I am in the club and ask for water, everyone will hit the floor. ( I managed to wangle myself out of meeting today but I will have to go there tomorrow)

Maz how hard were your first couple of days? Duncan what about yours?
Maz how do you do that? quote two people in one post? I feel my many posts to many people could be better done in one and therefore less forum clogging and annoying :)

i pick up a post i want to quote and reply but not send....

then i highlight and copy all in the box,

then i go back, find the second one i want to quote.... reply and paste in the first bit....

    repeat to fade....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Spud you are right, and other people can be very judgemental. I don't tell a lot of people what I am doing, a few people in work know, but not many at all.
You will get comments about "Fad" diets, and the old "you will just put is straight back on again" and then you get your friends who actually prefer you just the way you are and don't want you to become super slim and sexy again.

You should try and use this as a way to prove them wrong, so when you think you might give in to temptation, just think then that you can't let them be right.

Lisa, get back to obsessing about the diet and not chinese, these are bad thoughts. You can have one, just not yet. Your not denying yourself anything, just putting it off for a while. Try thinking of a low carb high protein meal that you really like and set a date for it say 3 weeks away, or 1st 7 away. If you are a good girl then we will let you have it OK!

I bought a screw top beaker at Tesco today to take to school. I made my lunch shake in it, fastened the lid and shook, and it was ok. One or 2 ickle lumps, but totally drinkable, until I can get some tetras.

DH said to tell people I'm eating a meal at night if anyone asks ;)

  • I don't really want a chinese. My eating habit does. I guess it's all those MSG's you can so easily get addicted too, when I reach my goal I would be a fool to have a chinese again, I know that would be a slippery slope back to where I was once. When I do eventually start eating again I'm thinking salad and chicken :-D I'm terrible with crisps too, I am addicted to them.

    And another thing........
Don't any of you go missing because you think you have failed.
You want this, you really really do, and it is very very hard some days.
Its OK to have a bad day, but the important thing is to get back on track asap and thats where this forum has helped me the most, I am now starting my 4th week. I have never stuck at this this long before.
And I know that before if I had fallen off the wagon I would have stopped reading and posting, embarrassed I suppose.

Just come on, tell us what youve done, we will shout a little and give you lots of group hugs, (Now we've found them), and you can just pick yourself up and start again!!
