One thing I havent felt yet is hungry. Am I doing something wrong? I havent eaten food since lunchtime yesterday, but I feel really bloated, presumably because of all the water

Tonight will be the true test. We have friends coming round for a chinese, and have mucho beer, crisps and cookies. I wont touch any of it ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Does it?? Do you actually still feel hungry or is it a psychological urge to eat?

I still want food, but if i have food i no longer want it. fneh fneh

You are not doing anything wrong! :) watch out for day 3/4/5 (depends on who you talk to as to which is the worst then it gets better.:p

The water will help flush out the stored water (and fat) so keep drinkig, how much are you drinking?

    I'm on 2 1/2 litres so far :D

The CDC said the first 3 days would be the hardest. Hopefully days 4 and 5 will be OK, coz I'll be at school. Not the place to be if I'm grumpy/hungry :p

It's great that you're not feeling hunger hun... the water intake does become second nature and the peeing slows down... i have been known to pee in the house and not pee again til lunchtime at work, so it does settle down, and i usually drink a litre in the am

Oh yeah, totally noisy rumbles n all sorts!!

i guess it must be real hunger cause it's physically rumbling.. and a shake or tetra sorts it out...

the phsychological hunger is there too... but it's not as easy to identify....

Keep going Lisa. Justt imagine how great you'll feel at weigh in next week ;)

    I WILL refrain.

I'm feeling really liberated by the whole thing. Food will no longer have that power over me. As I said earlier, I thought going to do the food shop would be hard, but it wasnt

I think my biggest fear is the reaction of friends/colleagues etc. It isnt the kind of diet you can keep secret really is it.

Maz how hard were your first couple of days? Duncan what about yours?
Maz how do you do that? quote two people in one post? I feel my many posts to many people could be better done in one and therefore less forum clogging and annoying :)
