Duncan - if you find you dont like the flavour of a bar try putting it in the fridge (i thought i hated malt toffee but out the fridge it was almost nice :j)
ps still hate the shakes - dont know why but have to look the other way when OH has his.If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0 -
Hi everyone, so encouraging to read all your successes. After 4 months off I have managed to maintain my losses but 4lbs have crept on this past week so I am restarting the sole source programme today. Thought I'd check in for a bit of accountability and support! Have a great day x
welcome Candy! sure you can nip those nasty 4lbs in the bud.... well done on maintaining thus far though!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
We had a pizza this weekend and wow did i feel awful! i had not realised that my sinuses had cleared (long history of problems) and also my astham was better. I know this because of the bl**dy pizza
This was sunday and i am still waiting for my nose and throat to clear of mucus.
Maz you are really slim how much weight do you need/want to loose?
I want to get down to 11stone thats my goal. Whats everyone elses goal... ohh i feel another POLL coming on :T
Erm, i am still 13stone 2 so not slim at all, trust me! you do know i was the one on the left! lol!!!!
Initially i was aiming for 12stone (still overweight mind you but not obese), which seemed an insurmountable target from 16stone 3lbs... but the closer i get to it, i begin to think maybe i should be aiming for 10stone 6 which is BMI of 25, the top of healthy BMI for me....... i just don't know to be honest....
let's just say, me and OH are monitoring the situation carefully! lol!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
:T You have done so well Maz :T i knew which one was you
LOL
I have i think six stone to loosewas originally aiming for 13 which i have bene before and although considered overweight at that i felt good) but have decided scr*w it i am going all the way to 11!! yay. Its odd but it puts me at just below 25bmi but having been 13 i KNOW that any less than that and i would be ill not slim
Sticking to the diet is hard thoughtomorrow is my birthday and i dont know if we should go out for a nice meal or just stick to CD?

Hi Maz, I think with all the running you are doing, you definitely don't look what you weigh. Your pics show someone full of health!
Alpha, its strange isn't it what food does to you. Maybe its dairy products, ie the cheese that causes the problem, but you are right you don't notice how good you were feeling until you blow it and feel so lousy.
I am taking my target one step at a time.
Managed step one to lose 1 stone, (mind you I have probably blown that one now - hopefully will still manage to knock a pound off by Friday wi),
I have 2lb to lose to just be overweight and no longer obese, so there will be another milestone.
Then another 12lb, to 2 stone marker.
Long term, I would love to get down to 9.5 stone, but I havent been that weight since I was 18 years old!
10.5 stone was the weight I was at when I got married, I was swimming a lot then and, even if I say it myself, had a lovely toned figure. That was over 15 years ago now.
That could be a good target though - to fit into my wedding dress again! Maybe I could get DH to take me for a tropical renewal of Vows.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Why not book yourself in for a haircut or a massage as a birthday treat and break the celebration/reward food thing.... says me who ate out on sunday!!:T You have done so well Maz :T i knew which one was youLOL

i have the same trouble, at my "best" adult weight i think i was just under 13, but given changes in post baby figure and so on i think i would need to go beyond that and down to at least 12stone, and review it again...
BMI now is 31 from 39, so once i get into BMI in the 20's it'll be another nice achievement!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Im already having the massage as a b-day present from my grandad
Need a haircut though!!
We are getting married in three weeks (am def eating that day) and i wish i had known about cambridge before then. although i will have reachd a goal by then by getting under bmi40
I barely know how i got this big... oh yes i do! I used to be LDR (long distance runner) and they made me stop because i have arthritis in both knees (at age 23!!)and i piled on the pounds. well not anymore
Maz, what did you eat?If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0
