    hi guys!!

    Late reporting back in....

Well, first things first...... lost 6lbs this week!!! woooo woooooo!!!

and as for the 10k, well it went very very well.... it was scorchio hot, which made it tougher than expected in some respects but i still came in faster than i had pencilled in for...

As it was a new race, there was a relatively small field of runners, and i was a spectactularly 141st out of 141 runners! i.e. last!!! but i was so pleased to finishe well that i wasn't bothered with being last, i got a lovely cheer and actually felt quite emotional! Plus i got a spot prize of £10 voucher for running shop!

001.jpg me n runchum rachel, before!

    015.jpg me after!

hope everyone is resisting the chocolate eggs!

I had gone to bed by the time you posted this Maz, but you look fantastic....

You certainly don't look like you have just run 10k!

Well done on the weight loss you are doing brilliantly....works out to four pound a week. My cdc lets me just buy what I need tbh - i may have given up if she made me buy the whole lot for a week, but on the other hand maybe it is a good motivator for sticking to it and not cheating.

I am desperately trying to stick to it (I am on two shakes a day and an evening meal). I am okay during the week but OH sabotages me at the weekend and I know I should try harder but I only have 10lb to lose. I am going away for four days next week after that I will make my mind up whether to carry on or just go on healthy eating and use the food focus website. I feel much more in control with my eating now than I used to.

:T:T:T Well done Maz on your double whammy of losing 6lbs and a 10k race :T:T:T

Reading about your achievements definately keeps me on track! Unoffical wi today (my cdc is away for 2.5 weeks) and think i've only managed 2lbs. Still its all going the right way.

Thanks Mrs T and Sammy -

Sammy - i reckon you could honestly stop the CD now and focus on losing the last 10lbs by working hard and eating sensibly. For those of you who don't know Sammy is one of the ones who i first heard of CD through and if it wasn't for her i would definitely not have found this diet.

Also Sammy is a fantastic runner! and is an inspiration on that front too!

Hi everyone, so encouraging to read all your successes. After 4 months off I have managed to maintain my losses but 4lbs have crept on this past week so I am restarting the sole source programme today. Thought I'd check in for a bit of accountability and support! Have a great day x

Congratulations Maz on the run - I have to say you look amazing, the smile on your face says it all - what an achievment. You must feel so proud of yourself.

Alphamare- I can take all the shakes, but couldn't stomach the soups and the porridge and have taken on of each of the bars to try this week. I think because they are cold you can knock them back so don't have to taste them quite so much.

Well, I have good news and bad news.
I was a good girl and weighed in on Friday, lost 5llbs, Wahay.

Bad news on Saturday, after two days in the garden, some friends rang up last minute and asked if we fancied meeting up for a drink. It all went downhill from there, I even had crisps in the pub - don't even eat crisps normally!!! After not really getting back into it on Sunday, (It was then the hangover I think!) Yesterday I jumped straight back on the wagon in a big way.

This is actually really very good for me, usually I am very defeatist and will have just carried on stuffing my face with everything in sight.

And I can honestly say, I felt really lousy after all the food, (and drink) Sick, bloated, lethargic.
A good incentive to stay on the straight and narrow!

We had a pizza this weekend and wow did i feel awful! i had not realised that my sinuses had cleared (long history of problems) and also my astham was better. I know this because of the bl**dy pizza  This was sunday and i am still waiting for my nose and throat to clear of mucus.

Maz you are really slim how much weight do you need/want to loose? :)

I want to get down to 11stone thats my goal. Whats everyone elses goal... ohh i feel another POLL coming on :T
