Have you checked American Airlines? I booked my flight (Heathrow to JFK) a couple of weeks ago for £245 with them, they offered me lots of different flight times all for the same price, whereas Virgin only offered the (in my opinion) crappy times for the cheaper prices.

They have gone up now, Continental have good times for £288. If they are still the same in a couple of weeks when I get paid I think I'll probably book them.

I checked out Virgin a few weeks ago and they were very cheap but the prices have shot up now.

I'm starting to get really excited now - 12 weeks to go!

I've just checked out the reviews for the hostel I've booked, and I'm thinking I made a mistake as a large number of them mention cockroaches!!!

I visited a good website the other day - www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/new-york.htm - they take bookings for tours, the city passes, and even cheap airport transfers (JFK and Newark £11 each way, La Guardia £10 - that's right to your hotel I think)

Anyway, just wanted to see how your flight situation was. Hope you have a good trip!
