Some people get by on 100 mins a month (although I've no idea how!). I've bought a similar deal but with the Xperia U for my mum who simply doesn't need that many minutes.

    Anyway if you go over:
    Call Charges

    Call Charges per minute/message
    Calls to UK landline 30p
    Calls to same network 30p
    Calls to other networks 30p
    Text Messages 14p per text
    MMS Messages 30p per message
    Data Charges 10p per MB
    Voicemail 10p
  • Massive thanks to the OP, I got this phone and am DELIGHTED with it and thrilled with the tariff! Can't tell you how chuffed I am :D. Would never complain about this deal, wasn't expecting much from the phone but now it's here it's fantastic and £25 cash back has also tracked through Quidco so it's effectively free for the phone and the contract! Can't figure out how/why they are offering such a good deal though, fail to see how it benefits them
  • Forgot to say for chubby fingers you could buy a stylus pretty cheap!

I understand that if you want to retain your existing phone number you have to provide the pac number at the time of placing your order.

With Talk Mobile you can't issue a pac change for your existing number later on.

This is true. I hope it hasn't caught anyone out. I still think it's a daft 'rule', personally.

8.33 minutes a day, or two short calls.
Whats the charges for going over.

I've got an app on mine, called phoneusage. It tells you how much you've used since your last bill date.

I never went over the 300 mins I had on my last contract, but this one's 250 so I'm being cautious.

I also use this app. Talkmobile also have their own free app called Bill Angel which allows you to set alerts when you are getting near to your limit so i'm trying that at the moment.
