Both iOS and Windows 7 phones do not the ability to use memory cards, although Windows 6.5 did it was pants to say the least.
Apple and Windows phones don't have seperate pools of internal or storage memory as such, they have a set amount of internal memory thats used dynamically allocated as required. They reserve a little for working space but thats not seperate or extra memeory, just reserved by the system. You can;t claw back any of the reserved memeory for your own use to store apps on.0 -
Are you sure you can't uninstall Facebook? AFAIK it is an app like any other, and should be removeable from the settings - applications - manage applications options on your phone.
I have had the same problems with my HTC desire, and found that it was facebook and google maps sucking up most of the internal storage. Unfortunately I do actually want to use those apps! The only permanent solution I found has been to root my phone to a version that allows all apps to be moved to the SD card, as the original OS did not.Savings target: £25000/£25000

Depends on the implementation. Not all phones with ICS work that way.0

Yeah. Clear the data cache for all apps and see if that helps.0
