That's what I do tooOH has some rather fetching fluorescent yellow and orange pants and if I put them on the outside, I'm sure we'd get planes landing in the garden ...

My MIL got very sniffy about the fact that she could see her neighbour's washing line from her kitchen window (she won't put ANY washing to dry outside because the neighbours might see it). I had a look to see what horrors she was being subjected to (imagining all sorts of rudery, given the way she was acting).
They had hung out three plain towels. The scandal!0 -
errm.. not read most of the replies on here, so here goes..
yes, i do, and have felt a lil' embarrassed about some of the pants being a bit too big and a bit too grey to be showing on the neighbour's side (one side is a quite handsome younger fella, and the other side a trollop of a family who i don't give two hoots about!) My bras are fine as they're still nice looking ones, but the pants, well.. some of them would be best chucked in the bin if most of you lot (or men who would rather eat their own sick than undress me!) had them yourselves.
I don't care about buying lots of nice underwear on a regular basis as i think it's ridiculous for thinking that they have to be replaced every so often so that they look new or white (think i have undies from 10 years ago!!)
anyway, back to the washing-line question. yes, mine goes out and tend to go on the undie-hanger bit than on the line so then it's easier to take them down. if i run out of space, then i put them strategically out of view of said handsome neighbour (in front of my g/house!) where the line goes near, and also away from the prying eyes of a dirty ole neighbour who spies thru' a hole in the fence from 2 doors down!!0 -
I hung mine out until I moved out of my mum's. Now I live in a flat, so they are hung indoors along with the rest of the washing.:j Tehya Baby DD 22/03/2012 :j
