Which recipe book or site is the sausage, put lentil and rosemary casserole recipe from please? I'd really like to cook that
Congratulations to Mr F on his salary rise - what a lovely surprise :T
Best wishes Tilly
BBC G00d F00d (again). Thanks Tilly. On reflection the pay rise will probably just cover the tax on our healthcare benefit when Mr F takes that up but at least we won't be any worse off.

Thanks Fortune, I'm going to cook that one on Friday evening I think. I'd planned for a takeaway but need to keep spends as low as possible, to offset spending elsewhere
At least you won't be worse off and you have private health insurance which is always a bonus.

The swallows arrived yesterday! Mr F drew the bedroom curtains to see one sitting on the telephone wire outside the window and I saw it again in the afternoon. We look forward to them arriving every year. I know they say one swallow doesn't make a summer but I'm giving that a stiff ignoring :rotfl:
MS:- did the menu planning for the week
- had the last of the Chunky Vegetable Soup for lunch
- did the weekly Waitr0$£ shop. Might not make any savings this time - food is getting more and more expensive
- leftover Sausage Casserole for supper as Mr F is away
- baked Banana and Maple Syrup Cupcakes
- took Cupcakes and a bottle of wine to a neighbours for a girly night in. Her house is about 1/2 a mile from mine and across the lane neighbour and I walked up and back together

Those cupcakes sound scrummy do you have a recipe? Also great news on the 2% payrise & how sweet to see a baby foal

Here you go Stacey. I only make these for a special treat as Maple Syrup's a bit pricey now. And, I can't resist scoffing the topping

As Mr F was away this week I took the opportunity to review how things have been going. Generally I'm still on track, however, my diet needs a bit of a reset. Breakfast and supper are usually healthy and nutritious because I'm cooking for Mr F as well as myself and cook everything from scratch. Where I fall down is lunch. I don't menu plan for my own lunch and usually just eat whatever I can find in the cupboards. My lunches haven't been very healthy recently and I've been having unhealthy snacks as well. I've put on 7lbs since Christmas so something needs to change...
MS:- Step class this morning
- OP'd an 80p Tillytidy
- £5 Amaz0n voucher from $wagbuck$
- Waitr0$£ delivered. £6.27 under budget but that's because some things were missing. I'll have to pop to the C0-0p tomorrow for the missed items. Bad news for Mr F - his weekend beer didn't turn up
- shopping budget may now increase as I intend to menu plan for my own lunch from now on and include more fresh fruit and veg
- Poached Salmon Salad for lunch today (started well)
- Chorizo Hash with Poached Eggs from the meal plan for supper tonight
Have a great weekend all

It looks as though Duckie has abandoned her nest
. She covered the eggs up very carefully yesterday morning, left for the nearest duck pond, and hasn't been seen since. I'll give her another couple of days and, if she doesn't come back, I'll give the nest to my neighbours' children to take into school.
Recent MS:- visited my across the lane neighbour yesterday morning to sort out some social plans and realised we both had to go into the market town. It made sense to go together and we decided to have a catch up lunch whilst there - £8.00
- it's my nephews 18th birthday this week so I got him a card and bought a few others to keep in my emergency card drawer - £13.74
- popped into the C0-0p to pick up the non-delivered items and cake ingredients (see below) - £21.33
- ordered a special present for my nephew - £42.40 but reduced from £80
- bought myself a green leather saddle bag from the Zatchels site. It will be perfect for my Founder's Day outfit and was half price - £35 instead of £70. Thank's PAP for recommending the site. This will come out of my personal spends so no impact on the budget
- ordered a replacement foundation from H0us£ of Fra$£r. £10 off and I had a £10 CP voucher - £10 including postage also from my personal spends
- ordered a crate of wine to restock supplies. Remembered to go through TCB
- Tillytidies of 80p and 67p
- 8p liberated from Mr F's change to feed Mr Marmite
- £12.29 claimed from TCP which I'll OP when it comes through
Mr F is off doing 4x4 type things today and I have been invited to my over the lane neighbours for a roast dinnerI've promised to bring wine and cake :T. Break out the bananas and maple syrup and let's get baking!
Have a good Sunday all

Had a lovely lunch (?) at across the lane neighbours yesterday. We didn't eat until 5.30 pm and Mr F managed to get home in time to join us. Several bottles of wine seem to have disappeared from the wine rack which is looking decidely bare now. Good job I've ordered more.
The price of such a fab evening was a very disturbed nights sleep. I woke up several times because I was thirsty, needed a wee, was too hot and got bitten by something - and no it wasn't Mr F :rotfl:So, I saw Mr F off to work this morning and went back to bed for an hour. However, when the alarm went I turned it off and just couldn't wake myself up. Another hour later I finally woke but too late to get to Step this morning
MS:- baked Banana & Maple Syrup cup cakes to take to neighbours
- didn't have to cook so will save the meal that was planned for this evening
Have a good week everyone
