Well done Fortune.. love a bargain!
I don't think your list is bad at all, everything was a considered purchase and you got your cashback too. Your jeans will be worn a lot, I assume, so they will be great value for money!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Thanks Shala. Now I've seen it written down I'm fine with it. I live in jeans since I've given up work so they definately will get lots of wear. My cards come out much less now so when I do spend it always feels like a lot.

I'm sure if you were to work out the cost per wear on your jeans, you'd be very happy.
I discovered my perfect jeans last time I was in the states. I plan on buying two more pairs next time I'm there.....
I've worn them just about every day apart from when they are being washed. I then have to wear some of my offers and they're just not comfortable compared to my perfect pair.
So, I say congrats on finding the perfect jeans!0 -

Have a fantastic remaining weekend:)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Mr F is definately on the mend now. He's slept through the last couple of nights - thank goodness. So it's back to work for him and back to normal for me tomorrow.
MS type activity:- Lentil Chill from the meal plan for supper last night. Plus another bottle of wine. That makes 3 this weekend  and they're not even Avi0$ now!
- Builder friend visited this morning. The mechanics' pit has definately got to come out. Builder friend is insisting it's down to him but it's going to cost him about £1k to put right. I've suggested we go halves. He fitted the pit according to the instructions but the extreme wet weather has caused the problems. It doesn't seem fair that he should shoulder all of the burden in those circumstances. If he fits the work in when he has a gap in jobs and co-ordinates this with the other jobs we've got on the list for him, he shouldn't be too much out of pocket and neither should we. I was expecting the cost to be a lot worse tbh
- a cupboard lunch
- the remaining Lentil Chilli in fajitas for supper this evening (along with 1 of the 3)
- an NSD - blimming good job really
Hope your week goes well

Lentil chilli sounds yum, is it from the usual place or do I need to look elsewhere for this one?

I think that's a great solution for you & Mr Builder.
Thanks Beanie. He's a friend and it seemed fairer to do it this way.
