Better behaved today MS wise:
- went into the village to get my flu jab. I get mine free because I get asthma if I get viruses
- dropped off my monthly payment plan form to the dentist
- posted the Chicken Coop Automatic Door - someone purchased on the BIY price last night so I should get about £70 once the fees come off :j- all helps to limit the weekend's damage
- a cupboard lunch - not from the cupboard of temptation this time :rotfl:
- 65p for Mr Marmite
- 66p tidied from the bank a/cs to the savings
- checked the budget for December and I might be able to put something into the savings after all :T
- picked up some rice from the corner shop. We've still got some Paneer, Pea & Tomato curry left over so that will do for dinner tonight.
Sleep tight

All those early wake ups caught up with me and, combined with a reaction to the flu jab and my dodgy tooth playing up again, resulted in a day in bed today
Still, a positive impact on the MS:- an NSD
- 15p raided from Mr F's change jar for Mr Marmite
- Bacon & Mushroom Pesto Pasta from the meal plan for dinner tonight.
Mr F has just made me a hot chocolate and then it'll be back to bed for me.
See you in the morning

Still a little under the weather yesterday so gave Zumba a miss. Feeling much better today though.
Total MS achieved yesterday:- lots of admin work done
- submitted a claim for the last period
- a cupboard lunch
- Salmon & Noodle Parcels for dinner from the meal plan. I didn't get to eat mine though as I had to rush off to an evening meeting. Luckily, someone brought lots of lovely, savoury nibbles so I filled up on them
- 38p tidied from the bank a/cs to the savings
- had the uneaten Salmon for lunch today
- booked the pub for our Christmas Day lunch - menu looks yummy
- finally managed to get seats for War Horse - but not until April  We were hoping to get something nearer Christmas but completely underestimated demand. Mr F's birthday is in April and he's the one who really wants to see it so that will work as his birthday day out
- there are some leftovers that need using up tonight so a Pasta concoction of some kind involving mushrooms for dinner I think.
Have a good evening

Can't believe I'm saying this but my beloved Waitr0$£ let me down yesterday. They were due to deliver between 2pm and 4pm. However, I got a call from the store at 4.30pm to say they were running late. "No problem" says I expecting to see them in an hour or two.
At 9.00pm I called the Helpline. We'll get the store to call the driver and call you back with an update. No call received but delivery turned up shortly after.
Harrassed delivery people unloaded my shopping and I waved them off. When I'd unpacked I realised that they'd gone off with the bag containing all my fruit and veg. Back to the Helpline who said "Sorry, the store's closed now so we're not able to contact the driver to see if he can come back".
To add insult to injury, the shopping had been badly packed and all my salad and herbs had been crushed at the bottom of the bags.
So no Lentil Chilli for supper tonight as planned just a sad, lonely cereal bar I found in the bottom of the Cupboard of Temptation. A complaint has duly been made. Fortunately Mr F was away at an old soldiers' thing, otherwise, I know we'd have been tempted by a pub supper :rotfl:
On the MS upside:- friend has paid up the £50 she owes me
- went to Step class (it hurt)
- £10 J0hn L£wi$ voucher arrived courtesy of V0
- £5 Amaz0n voucher arrived courtesy of $wagbuck$
- a cupboard lunch
- a very low calorie dinner :rotfl:
- an NSD
- a reshuffle of the meal plan.
The builder is suddenly free so is coming round today to price up decorating the hall. I can feel the savings draining...
Have a great weekend

PS yesterday's shortcuts to happiness: coming home from a hot and sweaty Step class to a scalding hot shower; climbing into fresh, clean sheets.https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6623005/happy-days-in-our-golden-years/p1?new=1

Thank you all for dropping by. Sadly, the Waitr0$£ story didn't end there...
Waited until 1pm on Saturday for the call to tell me whether the missing bag of shopping was being delivered or not. Called the Helpline who said there was a note of my file saying the store had been contacted and they couldn't deliver until Sunday. "OK" I said "Can someone please call me back and tell me when on Sunday". Someone did call me back - they couldn't deliver on Sunday. Anyhoo, I have been double refunded for my crushed items, refunded for my missing items and given a £15 discount code off my next shop. Apparently there was a complete system crash at my local store but all should be well by my next shop - we'll see.
So MS wise:- Sausages, Mustard Mash and Caramelised Red Onion Gravy for dinner yesterday and today. This was on the meal plan but I'd intended to split the meals up with something else so we didn't end up eating the same thing two days in a row. In the absence of the missing shopping it was needs must but this is one of Mr F's favourites so he was very happy
- Out with the girls yesterday evening to see Twilight Breaking Dawn. Hilarious! Not sure the Director was planning a comedy but it was the funniest night out I've had in ages. £8.75 for the ticket and I also treated myself to a small tub of Ben & Jerrys and a packet of Toffee Popcorn. £6.75 though  and I didn't enjoy the Popcorn much - tasted a bit fishy to me :rotfl:Won't be digressing from my MS ways in future at the cinema. I drove so drinks and chips at the pub after were on the others :T My immediate neighbours came back to mine for drinks later courtesy of Avi0$
- Baked Cheese Scones and butter iced the remaining Banana & Chocolate Fairy Cakes from the freezer. We ate some today and there are some left over for Mr F's packed lunches this week
- Ordered some outdoor slip on shoes for Mr F from C0tt0n Trad£r$ - reduced by £5 and used a voucher code that came with the brochure to get a further 21% off. He's needed some gardening shoes for ages as his others fell apart (all that mowing you see - I'm such a hard task master :rotfl:)
- Ordered two Couples Activity Packs for DSS1 and 2 and their girlfriends. This will be their main Christmas present as they are usually £99 each. Used Mr F's Avi0$ points though so a zero bill :j
- Wine rack is looking a little light so ordered another crate of wine from Avi0$ too
. That's pretty much it for the Avi0$ points now but didn't they do well :rotfl:
- Tidied up the bank a/cs - 39p to the savings
- Builder will start decorating the hall on Tuesday so I'll need to take some money out of the savings for that. I'm going to keep it down to a minimum though and use this month's disposable income, Fleabay sales etc as much as possible
- A few Fleabay sales - probably about £10's worth
- Reconciled the a/cs - found an error in my favour, I'd entered one transaction twice :T
- Spent the afternoon in front of the logburner watching one of our Fleabay DVDs

Looks like a very productive weekend to me.
Sad about the W@trose shop, was that with Oc@do or W directly?
I'm off to google Av!os as I've not heard of that before
