Sad about the W@trose shop, was that with Oc@do or W directly?
I'm off to google Av!os as I've not heard of that before
Have a good week, Tilly
Hi Tilly
it was with Waitr0$£ directly - I used to use OcadO but got fed up with all the delays caused at their depot. I really like the Waitr0$£ policy on substitutions and short shelf life items though so I'll stick with them for now. Also - I want to get the vouchers they've got on offer at the moment. Spend £50+ on four different days till Sun 9 Dec and get £25 (1x £10 and 3x £5) worth of vouchers to spend in January.
Avi0$ used to be Airmil£$. Mr F travelled extensively when he was in the military and never used the points.
Have a good week too

Hi Brizzle
love catching up on your posts. Really like all the details of day to day life. And please don't worry about putting too much in - some of us get very carried away with that :rotfl:

Have you got a mywaitrose loyalty card? It's the card that just keeps on giving. 1p off your shopping every time, free tea or coffee every day with no other purchase and this week a free Waitrose mag as well (and will be every month). When I opened it there was a free coffee sachet, free teabag and 75p coffeee voucher. Well chuffed :T.
Sorry about your shopping though - so annoying as you're doing it for convenience and it ends up anything but!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi GG - I do have a card but do my shopping on-line so the card is linked to my account. My nearest store is 11 miles away and I rarely get there but I keep the card in my purse just in case

Can't believe how excited I am about getting the hall decorated. I think it's because it's been such slow progress for us getting the house sorted and a lot of things have been behind the scenes like getting the loft boarded. Also saving for the garage sucked up all the spare cash for years. It's lovely to do something inside the house where we'll be able to see what we've got for our money.
Mainly decorating centred MS over the last couple of days:- Step class yesterday (not so creaky this time)
- Popped into the market town to get paint samples - £7.90 but I do keep these for painting furniture, photo frames, etc. Had a lovely afternoon daubing squares onto the wall and peering at them at different times of the day and night to see what they would look like :rotfl:
- Posted a couple of Fleabay items whilst I was there
- Picked up the missing shopping items from the C0-0p
- 99p tidied up from the bank ac/s and into the savings
- Into town today to pick up the paint - Ball Green by Farrow & Ball. I know, I know, not very MS but I love their colour scheme, it's extremely hard wearing and the fumes don't give me asthma. I did shop around for the cheapest locally so only £65 I know I'm just justifying myself here but the first room in the house I decorated was Farrow & Ball and 5 years later it still looks really fresh and clean
- Bought some silver ribbon whilst I was there so I can continue with my Christmas wrapping
- Posted another Fleabay item
- Had a naughty lunch out - £11.50
- Ordered 3 Christmas presents online. That's it - all present shopping completed :T and I came in £3.47 below budget :T Just need to get on with the wrapping now
- Order a card from M00npig for my sister's birthday on Friday
- Did a bit of research for my DN's 21st next week.
Hope you're all having a good start to the week.

Woke up at 4.30am this morning to hear Mr F shouting at the (not so) Fortunate Cat. "What's going on?" I said. "I don't know what she's doing but she's woken me up twice with her racket. Can't you hear it?" Sure enough there was an intermittant tapping sound as though the cat was scratching at a door. That made sense as we had all the doors in the hall closed because of the dust from the decorating. I got up and retrieved the cat. Back in bed (with said cat) the noise started again. "It must be a draught somewhere making a closed door knock against its frame". Up I get again and open all the closed doors. Just as I was walking across the landing to go back to bed the noise started again - this time from above my head. "There's something in the attic" I said (in a small and slightly scared voice) Up into the attic I go to find we have caught a rather large mouse in our humane trap! The noise must have been him chewing on the metal trap trying to get out. So, there I am, 4.30 in the morning, on the back door step releasing said creature back into the wilderness. I'm sure he'll be back tonight as you're supposed to release them at least 3 miles from the house so they don't find their way back again. But at 4.30am the back doorstep was the furthest I was going to go. Usually I wait until the morning but I haven't checked the trap for a while so who knows how long he'd been in there. It's the first mouse we've had in the attic since we had it boarded about two years ago - let's hope it's the last!
MS today:- did the on-line Waitr0$£ shop and used my £15 off code - should come in about £39 under budget this week :T
- went to Zumba
- popped into the village to post the last Fleabay item, pick up a perscription and fill up with fuel - £60  And the pump didn't cut off there either so I reckon I could have got another fiver in
- an hours admin work
- went on-line (again) to tell Natw£$t I want to keep my weekly paper bank statements - why do I keep having to do this?
Mid-week :T All downhill from here.

I use F&B paint too - tried dulux colour matching in some areas - but 4 years on, they are the ones that need completely repainting! It really is worth the money IMO.
We have a mouse in my house too, kind of inevitable in the winter. Haven't seen it and not interested in our traps either. What sort of humane ones do you use? OH will only use non-humane ones, and as I have a phobia of the things am not prepared to empty the humane trap myself.
