Thanks for making me laugh guys. It's not the end of the world if I overspend on the lilies every now and then but I do want to increase our savings pot.
Nothing much to report today. Just a little admin work - all mine now, mwah ha haMr F is still away so I had some Easy Thai Prawn Curry from the freezer for supper.
I think perhaps there is a universal law whereby, if you are undisciplined in one area of your life you will be disciplined in another to ensure cosmic balance is achieved. My diet is going well and I've been able to stick to my calorie allowance. Perhaps it was the purchase of the new top that motivated me. It was soooo flattering until I sat down in it and there was evidence of my muffin top :rotfl:
Mr F is home tomorrow :j
Happy hump day all

A very productive day yesterday:
- 4 loads of washing done. Managed to get 2 line dried - although I nearly lost a pair of jeans it was so windy :rotfl:The other 2 loads were towels and I always tumble dry those
- baked a Banana Loaf to use up 3 sulky bananas. I've still got 2 left so more baking may be on the cards for today
- a little housework
- a lot of admin work - motivation is definitely up
- Mr F got home in good time last night so we had Chorizo & Pepper Lasagne and salad with a bottle of red to celebrate his first week.
It looks as though he's going to have to be at Head Office for the next couple of weeks though. Oh well, at least I get sole control of the remote for while :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone!

So ends the first day of having Mr F at home on a week day. I was right in that it's making me more productive. Lots achieved today:
- another 3 loads of washing done. 1 line dried, 1 tumble dried (sheets) and 1 drying on the airer. I have managed to dye a couple of items blue though  so will have to invest in some colour run remover
- a little admin work
- baked some Banana Chocolate Muffins to use up the last of the sulky bananas. These are known as 'Poo' cakes in the Fortunate household because, although they taste delicious, the do look as though they might have come from the wrong end of a horse!
- made Leek, Bacon & Potato Soup for lunch
- a little housework
- we'll have the rest of the Chorizo & Pepper Lasagne for supper with salad.
Likes :T- getting up a whole hour and a half later than usual
- making and eating breakfast at a more leisurely pace
- not having to make a packed lunch
- not having to clean Mr F's shoes
- being more productive
- eating lunch together in the dining room
- the company
- having to listen to opera most of the afternoon :rotfl:
It's Friday everyone! Have a good one.

Hi Fortune, sounds like you've had a good day.
I must admit I used to love working at home with Mr T.
I tend to be more in the office at the moment, as I work less than when I'm at home :rotfl:
Weather was weird here today - beautiful walk early this morning, then rain a couple of hours later, then sun and so on all day.
Glad it's Friday night.

2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
A very self-indulgent day yesterday with nothing much achieved. Mr F was out at some 4x4 Response Team training so I had the house to myself:
- a long hot bubble bath
- some catch up TV
- many, many competitions entered
- Cheesy Pesto Tuna Bake for supper. I added a tin of sweetcorn just to bump up the veg and we had it with some salad.
Have a lovely Sunday all
