    I'd make a sarcastic comment about Yodel, but you probably wouldn't get it.

    If I buy anything big by mail order, I now ask who will be delivering it. If they say Yodel, I ask if they can use someone else. If they can't or won't, I cancel the order, look elsewhere and will never use that supplier again.

    Hi,

    We'd need to look into your account details and get the tracking information to resolve this for you. If you could email us at the email address given above we'll look into this for you.

    Many Thanks

    Even Amazon customers are sick to the teeth of Yodel and to date 4145 customers have signed a petition on the Amazon forum to urge Amazon the stop using them.

    Yodel tried to deliver to me last week and as I was out they left a card. Re-arranged delivery for yesterday but emergency meant I had to go out for an hour. Guess what - they tried to deliver whilst I was out but as goods required a signature (over £900 value) they decided to leave by my front door! Luckily they were still there when I returned.

    @Chris of the Very Network Team,

    Cheers for the e-mail but it is very clear from my posts that I had purchased the phone from CPW so obviously I would not be the account holder and there would be no reason for Yodel to have my e-mail address. I am the customer of CPW as are many of the posts here which are also from customers.

    I have been wasting my time exchanging posts and e-mails with you if you are going to quote the Data Protection Act, this is a get out. If Yodel were not, in my opinion, a 'cowboy company' they would investigate the complaint which I made not ignore me. The complaint being that the driver had logged the delivery as being made when it had not been. If you cannot see this as a problem then, sorry Chris, you should not be answering MSE members complaints!

    What am I missing here?

    You bought something from CPW and had a problem with the delivery company concerned.

    Shenren90 said they had a problem with an iPad from Very.co.uk - The Very.co.uk representative then offered to look into it...

    You then asked him, and emailed them to get him to look into your CPW delivery for you?!?!?

    You're the one in the wrong, of course Chris cannot help you...he works for Very, not Yodel!

    Why on earth are you slating a company for not answering your complaints when they have absolutely NOTHING to do with your order???

    @Chameleon & @Visidigi,

    Yes you are correct, my error, Shenren90 had posted about Very. I must have missed that seeing that this thread was about Yodel an easy mistake to make.

    I agree with you both that Chris of The Very Network Team had nothing to do with most of the problems of members that are posting about Yodel.

    Looks like we both made an error, Chris for not reading that my complaint was with CPW & Yodel and me for not realising that his company, Very, did not relate to my post.

    @Chris, I have removed my posts. No hard feelings I hope...

    I had this same problem with an ipad ordered from Very and delivered by Yodel. The goods never turned up and apparently I signed for it with a scribble as the signature.
    You need to chase it with Dixons not Yodel, its a long process (mines a month and still waiting) you will get there though. And im surprised crooks like Yodel are still allowed to be in business awful company. :mad:

    Urrr, no.

    Chris was helpful towards his customer, I have highlighted the parts of the customers post that indicate he was rightly entitled to be involved.

    This was all you I am afraid ;)

    @Visidigi,

    You should have waited till I finished editing my post.

    As I have stated both Chris and I mis-read the posts, an easy mistake.

    If you have have a different opinion, so be it.

    I'm sorry but Chris didn't misread the post which you directed at him and he rightly presumed was concerning a parcel you had ordered from Very, otherwise why on earth would you be asking him to look into it? At no point did you mention you were asking about a parcel sent by CPW!

    He then asked you to email giving your account details so he could investigate further.

    The only person who made a mistake here was YOU jumping into someone else's reply and demanding answers to your own problem :rotfl:
