PCN final notice help!

Hi all

I posted about a month ago about receiving a letter from Gladstone solicitors telling me I had 28 days to pay for the PCN, which as I mentioned was received when someone at work used my husbands company car. As advised I ignored the letters but have today received a final claim notice telling us we have 7 days to pay or it will be sent to county court judgement. I'm really worried and wonder whether I will have to pay this to avoid the court although my husband definitely was not driving. Has anyone else received similar???

It just seems like it may be a real threat, I know it sounds daft but Gladstone solicitors look like a reputable company and the paper was a lot posher than the last letter!?

Worse is, I haven't bothered to tell my husband about the letters since the first one because I didn't think it would get this far along.

Parkshield self ticketing garbage. Thanks to VCS V HRMC is has been confirmed they have no right to offer you parking! Hence they have no right to charge you for doing so!

Solicitors letter probably come from them, solicitor sells them letterhead for a couple of quid each. Probably why it was on crappy paper the first time.

A reputable solicitor wont want to go near a court with this one!

Edit: even a disreputable one would think twice! :p

You've been told to ignore several times by respected posters...and you're still chuntering on.

Have you read the replies to your original post???

Have yopu read any other threads on here???

Have you read the stickies at the top of this board???

Do the above, and then if you're still worried I suggest you pay up, as nothing will stop you worrying.

Yes I've read the replies, I've also read that they don't usually bother sending these court proceeding letters either. Since I'm still getting the letters I wanted some reassurance as the last letter appears to be as legit as I would expect and I wanted to gage the response from other users. I apologise for repeat posting and thank u for your reply.
