Hmm, should I try to order again? (they cancelled my last order due to stock issues). I resent having to pay another delivery charge to them though, and it sounds as though some of you have had some real problems with this...
But apparently I really *need* a steam mop since I read this thread, even though I never realised it before...
Anyone got any suggestions for a better sub £35ish steam mop that does carpets as well as hard floors?
I also *need* one now I've seen this thread (and didn't before !)
I am slightly put off by the reports of breakages, but as another poster has pointed out Asda will be good for the warranty and if I find I really do need a steam mop but this one turns out not to be great quality I will probably just upgrade to a more expensive one next time....0 -
Farnborough store had loads in today - have picked up one (not that I needed one before reading this thread)0

I picked mine up today and used it on laminate, lino and wooden floor, it is really easy and nice to use and the results are really good, I'm very impressed. The best thing for me apart from how clean it gets the floor, has to be the time it takes for the floors to dry, with kids always under foot it only took a few minutes for it to be completely dry.
Would recommend to anyone with hard floors, it really is great, I'm actually going to look forward to cleaning the floors from now on!!!0 -
Picked mine up today, cleaned my kitchen floor and lo and behold - the ball thing broke! So will be taking it back to Asda tomorrow.
Wasn't sure about it anyway, I love the smell of floor cleaner when I have mopped my floor and of course with this you just use water so don't get that lovely clean smell.0 -
ASDA Rawtenstall have 3 left! :j 01706 242400
Now my sons can sort the bathroom floor.
(And yes, that emoticon of the little yellow people with the mugs of yellow fluid is alas all too appropriate...)0 -

I just put some essential oil drops in the water bit, tea tree or citronella and you still get the nice smell0 -
