Just been reading the <12 weeks thread and there is a lady on there that will give Rups a run for her money with the worrying and questions :rotfl: God help us all when she graduates and we have both of them on here!!!

*Rups if you read this when you get back - know that it was meant in a nice way not being nasty :)

Hehe I know who you mean bless her, the 12 weeks thread must do something to people. Despite a previous loss I think I was pretty chilled during the first 12 weeks, on mse anyway lol x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I do think we all get a little bit crazy during those first 12 weeks though... and then after those 12 if you haven't felt baby move for a couple hours you do all over again! If I was god...I would have made us with tummies thta go seethrough when pregnant so we could lift up our tops and have a quick look!!! :)

Hi all- hope all you preggies are doing well! :D

Just to say regarding this, it can be such a worrying time in those first 12 weeks, especially for those who have had previous losses. For me, I found the less than 12 weeks thread was adding to my anxieties so I tended not to post, however for some it is the best place to chat about worries, especially if not many in real life know about the pregnancy.

That's why the MSE pregnancy threads are great :D and the FB group too (get yourself added if you are not a member yet!) as everyone is welcome to chat, moan, worry and (most importantly) talk about food! :D

I'm sure she will and it was n't meant in a mean way... hence the line at the end :) I have been ion there myself trying to offer reassuring advice...as I did with Rups too. It was merely just a thought that popped into my head that we shouldn't ever let the two of them meet as they could wind each other crazy...

I was worried sick when I bled during the first 12 weeks, it's nice to have the support of the others on the pregnancy thread but then you think the worst when you read about the miscarriages :(

Triangle I think you summed it up well. After my losses I couldn't face posting or even reading the early pregnancy thread, but I think it's great for those that do take comfort from having it.

dizsie - I'm sure Rups will know it's meant well, she is used to us all teasing her over some of her worrying :D

And it's good to see more people joining the facebook group :)

KatyLiz - I'm nearer you than you think! Although I was born and bred in Beds and still work there I live in Northants - nearer Rushden (hence why I don't advertise the fact ;-) I was disappointed to see the lack of NCT classes round us too. Hence why I've ended up going for North Beds cos it's not really that far away from us.

What about library groups or something else?

Lol zcrat - I don't think Rushden is that bad! I live out the other side of everything, so Peterborough would be slightly nearer as my closest NCT. I think it's still to far to bother with though! Are you from Bedford itself originally?

I work near Rushden, we should definitely arrange some sort of meet up as there seem to be a few of us :) Any other Beds/Northants peeps about?

Apart from NCT classes (ours are in Sept Zcrat) I'm planning to check out the groups at my local children's centre once I'm on maternity leave, and plan to go to a few of them a week once baby arrives. Otherwise my only baby socialising will be with my sisters, and they're all in Herts so it involves a 45 min drive!
