How O2 is going to compensate us? This is bad. If people are on road and accident happens won't be able to call emergency services!

How did we used to get help before most of us had mobile phones?

Back on topic, I can't get a signal on the Surrey / Hants border but I've read on the BBC site that it doesn't appear to be a geographical problem but rather user account related - who knows as the O2 site isn't that informative.

O2 out here in Essex/London borders. Will also affect Tesco and GiffGaff as they are on the same network.

DH and I having no probs at all with our O2 contract phones, but DS's PAYG sim has no network coverage.

We have just spent 20 mins swapping sims to check whether it was his phone/sim or what. 20 mins of my life I won't get back

ETA the service status webpage won't load either
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

All mobile phones in the UK can make calls to the emergency services. Even if they are not connected to a network.
