Is anyone seeing any English copywriting jobs recently?

I signed up about a week ago and did my English author test and was initially marked at only 60% as they said my article wasn't completely on topic. I queried that with them and they re-assessed the assignment and gave it 80%. The mark updated in the completed assignments page, but on the list on the front page it remained at 60% and no jobs were showing. I queried this with them and they said that it was definitely updated and there were no jobs showing as at that time there weren't any jobs on the system.

It has now been over a week and I have never seen a single job on there.

Ignore me - bad day - I'm getting mixed up between TextBroker & ClickWorker.

Will now go and post this in the correct thread.:o
  • has anyone found the site quiet recently? I have been logging in over the past two weeks and have managed to only get a couple of jobs. yet the month before I managed to do 23 jobs. Granted that I am only rated at a 3 star but it just seems strangely quiet.

It's been on and off as far as I know...I've had the odd good one this week. Keep checking back as often as you can, they go on at all hours.

And about 150 of them are about casinos or poker. Don't they ever run out ??

Got two done today anyway (and not about casinos!)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Hi, I'm a newbie to the thread and it's all credit to those on here that I am involved, although still awaiting my first payment transaction to be completed.

Is anyone else on here part of the TeamUK team? There are loads of jobs for this team but I have yet to complete a task and find the instructions really ambiguous. If someone is TeamUK, can they please PM me.

If not, have you ever queried the instructions with the textbroker team? I feel a bit dense asking (what I am sure will be) stupid questions. Thanks
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • Hi everyone,

Firstly, thankyou to all the useful information posted by the users on this thread, it has been very informative and inspired me to have a crack at this Textbroker lark!

I am just wondering: is it possible to do this as a part-time self-employed income? The reason I am asking is that I have recently been moved on to JSA from IS, and finding it very difficult to find a job, despite applying for a fair few (my options are limited as I don't have a car and have two young children, so can only really work regular office hours - no evenings, nights or weekends!) It would be great to have a job that I could fit around my children (also doing a degree through the OU which is quite time-consuming).

I have considered many ideas for self-employment; I have always enjoyed writing and consider myself to have decent spelling and grammar. My childhood ambition was to be a writer during the day (and a singer at night...), but life tends to get in the way!

If anyone has any experience of working in this way on a self-employed basis, and could give me a vague idea of earnings possible, I would be very grateful.

    Lou x
