Might be worth a peek...... (if only to drool over Ben)!!!!

Looking now for a new smallish fruit tree to put in a large pot that is being vacated by a lemon tree which I thought was worth a try but the long winter was too much for it

Finally, an update on the H7N9 flu in China, 129 cases and 31 deaths as of 5 hours ago, according to Reuiters. There has been no new information online for a few days now until this morning.

G'day preppers. Tis a sunny day at Pineapple Towers, the washing is out, the grass is cut, the sprouts are sprouting and I've had to rub factor 50 on me lettuce :eek:
The car is outside with all doors and windows open (fairly safe in this locality) cooling down ready for the usual expensive trip to the vets. Just wondering whether I should admit giving my dog a touch of the herbals to try and combat the awful steroid effects. It is also time to tell them that I will be seeing a holistic vet as well - just checked today and apparently it's allowed if they don't offer that treatment.
Preps are a bit down - will do a shop when the sunny spell is over. By some accounts tomorrow!

For anyone who needs gluten free products - AF are now offering a range of them at much cheaper prices.

I made the mistake of wearing shoes instead of sandals yesterday and forgot that my feet would swell in the heat so got home limping with cut heels and blisters. Am now covered in plasters and will brave walking to shops in sandals later to try to get bargains.

Made YS salmon (a tenth of the price) with savoury bulgar wheat for lunch and using up mince as shepherd's pie or spag bol tonight.

DH is negotiating to get infinity broadband ( next door neighbour is getting it and he is desperate to beat him to it. ) If it works as well as it is supposed to then dds will be delighted or as impressed as dds ever get!!!

Good evening all had a busy few days in the garden,blitzing the house and baking isn't it lovely to be able to get outside finally,it seems to have lifted everyones mood around here

Not much happening atm mainly gardening stuff to keep up with,pleased to see the tree fruit exploding into life last year was very challenging so hopefully this year will be better.
Soft fruit is going mad even by our usual standards I'm going to be a busy bee preserving this year I tell ya
