Have sat here rolling up at the Island chat I suppose seeing as I've done sewing for a living I'd better take on the knicker stitching and threadbare bum patching :D

I'm a jack of all trades and master of none so will willingly just tag along and help out where needed we can dream can't we..

I couldn't think of a nicer way to spend my time than with you lot it'd be heaven!

I know one thing I'll never be able to sew a log cabin quilt again without a smirk on my face...

My bum may be threadbare, but it doesn't need patching :)

Not keen on cells or dungeons - I prefer some good old anarchy.
Maybe one cell for any stray politicians who might get shipwrecked.
    ..and one guillotine...
    better pack my knitting ;)

    Oh God Im singing it.....

Anyway, Cheapskate, its a magic island built in our minds so it wont be full, ever. We definatley need a fire brigade, so pick up one of their calendars, pick out the best examples and we will kidnap them when we leave - ok?

As long as we dont have bl**dy bedroom tax, Im in - got it down to £50 per months as they took into account we need separate rooms :j:mad::eek: Im really going to have to pinch some pennies till they scream now. Cannot risk not paying it as some landlords charge you full rent if you miss a payment and not just the arrears.

Just been to garden centre and got some bargain seeds for baby beetroots and turnips that you can grow in tubs and are ready in 8 weeks or so legend says. Also picked up carrot and turnip cubes in Mr A to de-hydrate for 19p a bag so my stores are growing.

I reckon we wouldn't have bedrooms as such, more like an 'adverse weather shelter' for each family smiley-winks-emoticon.gif that would have cooking, (unlimited) storage & resting areas should the odd stray monsoon drift our way. IF some are more prone to feel the chill of the night air & thus necessitate sleeping there, then that falls under the catagory of Elf & Well Be-in-sides, dundttit?

    Buttons
:) The Amish don't do buttons. Buttons are "proud". This belief was based on separating their values from those of those who'd sport heavily buttoned military uniforms, centuries ago. As harvested deep from the GQ trivia mine....

I'm pro-button myself, having many a happy memory of rummaging around in Grandma's button tin as a nipper.

Weellll, nice to see that whilst I have been saltmining, the search for the Ideal Home Island has gone on apace. I would like to suggest that the national flag be patchworked and at least one small section be red and white gingham, as it's my favourite.

I've been walking around grinning from ear to ear this aft; the sun is shining, it's actually HOT and the cherry trees have come into blossom all of a sudden.

Three days, free days, luxury play-in-the-dirt days and my new-to-me 50p cotton shirt is making me very happy.*wanders off singing off-key to herself*

Plus I fancied a lazy tea and wanted a chicken tikka masala from Tosspots and was even prepared to shell out for one at full price (summat not normally done) when I found they're half price today. Nomnomnom...................

Have a good 'un, you crazee ladeez and gentlemen.
