Pineapple read again! I have those listed as essentials! LOL
"I have a good stock of essentials loo roll. coffee, tea, first aid supplies, beer , wine and chocolate."
Couldnt possibly be a prepper without the above! Just looking for any ideas that I could add to from my starting point list.

Dear all
DDog is ok; seem to have avoided our own SHTF here, or should that be catastrophe, no, dogastrophe...
She may be saving that dubious moment for tomorrow morning (please God, not in the middle of the night...) She gave the most massive trump on walkies, turned round as if to say where the **** did that come from? Eye-watering stink. If I could bottle that, I'd have my own WMD, and make a street load evacute PDQ.
Anyway, onwards and upwards....
On the preptastic front, I have mostly been watching my seedlings grow, checking the temperature outside, nope, it's still too cold.
Did have takeaway pizza, well, it is my anniversary, tonight, mse though as used their 40% off (thanks mse vouchers!).
Trying to get used to clock change. I think I will keep the same time, call it preppers time, so I don't have to change my getting up habits every 6 blinking months. What a great excuse for being late at work, 'I'm sorry, I have my own time-keeping preference, so actually I am 15 minutes early on prepper time!'
I might not actually have to wait so long at the blinking doctors either!
Of course, this might just be the tipping point for carting me off somewhere padded, and enrobing me in that white jacket with extra long arms.....
Keep prepping all!

*emerges from a pile of boxes*
well it now officially needs to warm up as I just found a box unlabelled containing 6 bottles of salad cream with Augusts date..I can't eat salad while it's snowing:eek:
Elaine I don't think your list is bad at all a real good start I reckon well done.
Do you tend to eat a lot of regular meals? If so then if you work from there it'll give you an idea of how much to store.
i.e I use two loaves a day nearly I home baked and 1 shop bought so if the SHTF for one months supply of bread I would need
600g yeast
600g salt
bottle of olive oil
180g butter
and 30kg of flour!
that or put the kids on rations...:rotfl:
Could you let us have your recipe for your plain loaf pleeze, we love your apple braidBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
