We dont seem to have much snow, just a scattering. Tonight we took DGS home after his playday and I thought I would try lying in the middle of the road, curtesy of seatbelt wrapping itself round my leg. Dont think it was a good idea and am likely to be in rather a lot of pain sometime soon. Managed to wrench both knees bang my hands and my upper back is complaining loudly that it really doesnt like cold tarmac :mad:

Thank goodness Im a prepper as I dont think I could lift a bunch of flowers now.

Sedentary pleasures only, and I mean crafting , for the foreseeable future.

Im pleased to hear everyone is doing well and keeping safe - I think we can do the 'told you so dance' thanks to Kitty and 2tonsils warning us.

Exactly...this is why I am taking the article I posted (and the others I checked out) seriously. Piers Corbyn is so accurate in his forecasts a long time in advance and he said this was coming and the consequences when it did. Greece is going to be stuck in the arctic blast coming from the east (Italy too) and the severe storms we already have from the West. I would rather listen to what he predicts and be ready for the event than risk not being prepared for something.

If anyone can find the link to the warning about it happening I would be grateful, I posted it a few days ago but for some reason my browser won't let me search back for it in the posts. I will have another look...

This is a very important update....do you remember the other day I mentioned a strange message from Piers Corbyn warning that he saw a huge event happening that would impact the weather in Europe (and other places) within a few days...and impact world weather for years to come?

I am gobsmacked to say the big event has happened....this is the first report on it that have found. The big weather event will be an enormous storm in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. If you go to the last map you can see the projected path takes in Ireland and part of the UK, France, the channel and Spain. This is a genuine report and I am sure that more will come soon. Parts of Europe are going to be impacted with severe storms and huge waves.

Well I appreciate the sharing of info and link. Whilst I take things on these types of sites with a pinch of salt they are often the basis for further investigation. If I find stuff I'll post links too.

^ anything more reliable than a probably news scraper blog (ie one that just 'borrows' over people's content) that's happily reporting the Russian president apparently claiming aliens have landed in Russia, and "a 2nd Sun emerging from previously chemtrailed skies". ? (~name makes it sound like an end times conspiracy site too)
I think everyone here is bright enough to do their own research or corroborate with other information.
Actually I must confess I'm rather fond of conspiracy sites. I know I know I'm a hopeless case! Hangs head in shame... :o They can be great entertainment but sometimes one does indeed find a nugget in a sea of dross.
As for 'scraping sites' imo they can be useful - especially price comparison ones.

This is a link to the page where Piers made the information public....he actually mentions the polar vortex splitting into two red areas (it happened Wednesday) and what would happen to the weather afterwards. He first predicted it on January 3rd.

    http://www.weatheraction.com/displayarticle.asp?a=513&c=5

This is on the public page and he also sent out a message which I got from him . I mentioned it on here at the time. It looks like this weather is going to last/ return for most of us and we might well need to restock and sort out new preps for if it gets worse.

  • GINNY hope you are not too badly bruised, poor you, just the last thing you needed, hope you are able to function tomorrow. I always find a good long soak in a hot bath helps, take care of yourself and take it easy for a few days, easy for me to say I know, but it would do you good. Let us know how you are in the morning, Hugs Lyn xxx
  • 2T the SSW is no longer new news, it has been in the public domain for a fair while now. Tbh, what you are saying is scaremongering, yes events will happen but nothing like that

    omg, avalanche.

4 people confirmed dead now. :(

Unfortunately it's not an uncommon occurance in the mountain ranges up here and doesn't have anything to do with the weather that is hitting the South of England.

I was within a few miles of Glencoe today and it was a stunningly beautiful day.

Hope the woman who was injured makes a full recovery.

Ps. Hope eveyone is taking the time to check on any elderly neighbours (even if those neighbours haven't prepped as well as the rest of you :))

There is no need to be sarcastic about the site...I said it was the first I came across to share...its on the Greek sites and other news sites as well now... You would be better thinking about its effects than criticizing the source... Piers Corbyn predicted this a while ago....a copy of his post is on here from a few days ago when he shared it with everyone.

get the facts right 2T. I presume you don`t get the full paid forecast plus all the updates.
