hi all, been mia for a few months work been horrendous! off for a few days this week so catching up on forum. Lynn the prince of Belfast passed away last week for those who do not know who that is ,he was my 17 year yorkshire terrier, terrible time as he passed in our kitchen on his bed with us all there it was very quick he took a seizure and passed away 15 mins later so he was not in pain i was glad we were all there for him. he is buried in mums back garden with his illuminous bunny and solar lights atop of his grave all very nice so we can see him all the time, mum planted a syringa (sp) plant ontop .house is empty without him awfully sad, keep hearing him sneezing and trotting on wooden floor.
son was devastated as in twelve yr old mind he lost his brother,i not replacing him as i not going through this again its terrible when they go.
on a brighter note my garden is flourishing its lovely this year strawberries have gone mad as has my plum tree loads of tiny plums on it.
apple trees are covered in buds so good crops hopefully, all the veg is thriving too. voting ways we are voting out out out havent actually met anybody not one who is voting to stay in.
good to see new members from abroad . colour not color and grey not gray are ones i remember always seeing in books. have a good day all i happy to be back xxxC.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinaterI dont suffer from insanity....I enjoy every minute of it!!.:)

Can you believe this unprincipled woman?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36485464
I think she gives away her motives when she says 'Is Britain going to be better off or worse off, particularly for me as the chair of the health committee...'0 -
Oh CRAIGY I'm so sad for you all, one thing I'm certain of is that Docky will have been waiting at the other side for the Prince of Belfast to arrive with ears up and tail wagging, tell your small one that Docky will show the Prince around, where is the best place to snooze in the sun, where the best spirit bunny chases are to be found and I KNOW he'll have found a spirit glow in the dark bunny for the Prince to carry round so he'll be a happy boy! It's just a year since we lost our dear old lad and we miss him still, I don't think we'd consider another doggy pal until we stop only wanting it to be Doc! if we ever get to the stage of wanting another hound for its own sake then we'll get one but until then we'll carry on loving our lad and smiling at his memory! Love to you all and a special hug to the 12 year old, let him know that The Prince is being loved by the Dockling xxx.0

Craigy, sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved dog.
Jk0 sadly some peoples principles are very easy bought as they don't really have any.
Can't say I've heard anyone area say they want to stay in either. We've spoken to a local market trader and two local publicans and all of them report everyone's of the opinion that the futures uncertain either way but at least by leaving sink or float it will be our hand on the tiller and picking the course we steer.
Saw a quote last night that I think sums up the current state of Great Britain to me. "It is better to be an army of sheep lead by a lion than and army of lions lead by a sheep"SPC~12 ot 124

Craigy - sorry to hear of your loss. They leave such big hole in your heart don't they. Don't worry though, Docky was there to meet my lovely Lilo Lil a few weeks ago and by all accounts, they're having a whale of a time!

Loving the UK/USA language thing. I'd never realised what a "muffler" was
I have a cousin in New Jersey who I email quite frequently, and I never understood how many slang and colloquial terms I use until she kept asking me what any one particular bit meant :rotfl: she's a writer, so it was a lot of fun exploring it2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
