Confession time I used to pinch my childrens rusks when they were teething . I did the same with my younger siblings . Only ate them plain from the packet .

I'm sure you have all read this morning's news about the Panamanian law firm that helped people evade taxes by shifting money abroad.
Now, if you read Zerohedge, you'll see that in addition to the Icelandic Prime Minister, they also mention a certain British Prime Minister's father as being a client:

Odd that if you look at the BBC, only the Icelandic guy is mentioned?

So if the unmentionable hits the fan, we need a good supply of Farleys rusks. Ok, am onnit.0

Read this and prepare to get a wee bit furious:

Perhaps all those tin foil hatters aren't so nutty after all.
Annoyed but sadly not surprised.0 -

What will ever 'stick' in the memory though was some gooey, treacly, malty product which I was given regular spoons of - because it was supposed to be 'good for me' .0 -

Delicious with warm milk and sugar.
Yum! I used to give them to my children when they were little and have some myself. I liked them with cold milk too! I remember OH saying disgustedly to our DD1, "You and your mother don't half eat some revolting concoctions between you, baby." I never put sugar on them though, they were sweet enough already. They are rather smaller these days (as are Wagon Wheels too).
pollyanna - I assure you your palate would cope very well with the odd spoonful of condensed milk0
