Did you get some sweeties at the supermarket to take safely back up your hill? It might be classified as the three-bags-of-jellybeans sort of a day.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Ditto.
What are the best ways to store Jelly babies? Can they be dehydrated for long term storage? It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -
Yes, pretty easy and not too hard to work out the mid-Dorset towns you were talking about up the page; really the bus services around these parts, immediately outside The conurbation have really gone to pot in the last few years, haven't they?
Completely. Quite envy you that bike... I used to cycle a lot, but OH had a serious accident, nearly fatal, on his way to work one morning a few years back - just a moment's inattention from a harassed Mum, squabbling kids in the car, late for breakfast club - and he freaks out now if any of us try to cycle anywhere.Angie - GC Sept 25: £226.44/£450: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 28/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0 -
Jelly-babies? Storage? Is that possible?

Maybe it's time to stop worrying about 'might happens' and look at what IS happening? I almost feel like saying 'Bring it on ...we're ready!' but feel that's a bit foolhardy. It's always been known that too much fresh water in the system could disrupt the atlantic conveyer which really IS the only reason we in the UK have the mild and temperate climate that we do enjoy. Should the conveyer slow, we'll certainly be colder and have much different winters but we're very adaptable as a species and mankind has learned how to live and live well in all the diverse climatic conditions on the globe, it will be a steep learning curve if it happens suddenly but we'll do it!!!0
