It's a US site but ships globally, and seems to specialise in UV / glow in the dark packs, sticks etc. Some look to be based on a chemical that is recharged by light (10 seconds torch or sunlight) and others are a hybrid technology of rechargeable battery with chemical for items like torches.

I thought the glow sticks would be great for my kids as they're meant to last for 20+ years (bit expensive initially but cheaper in the long term and they look bright) and the packs would be a great night light for my landing or camping.

I've placed an order so will post an update when they arrive.

It's interesting, but all of the 'alternative' economic sites I read are reporting it as fact that Russia has cut off 60% of gas supplies to Europe. There was another Zerohedge article today which repeated it, for example. If you didn't know, you would find it very hard to know where that assertion originally came from. The old saying " a lie can be halfway round the world before the truth has got its boots on" comes to mind.

I'm assuming it's not true on the basis that no mainstream media outlet has reported it. And I think it is sufficiently important that they would.

It has been an eye opening lesson in not believing everything you read.

But I'm still glad we've got plenty of logs. Need them this week with such cold weather even in London brrr!

CTC, thats a great link! I downloaded at least half a dozen practical books - chronic pain relief, tinnitus, the farmflop one (that looks painfully honest!) and a few others.

I would try and transfer the old account to a new sim. Explain that you only use the phone for emergencies and that was what appealed about the contract and that you want to stay with Orange. Since it might only be the matter of transferring your details to a new SIM which "you only use rarely" it will not inconvenience you if they were to send you a new 3G or even 4G SIM for the phone.
