{{{Hugs}}} from me too, Doveling; we lost our Senior Puss a couple of weeks ago, so you have my commiserations. It's never easy...Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

Hmm. I just remembered why I packed up Chrome a couple of years ago. I just tried to watch a video on PP, and the sound is like that old comedian who used to make believe his microphone had a bad contact.0 -
Doveling very sorry to hear about your lab.
Thriftwizard too, for senior puss.
I do think about my cats on the other side, like Mar said, having a ball while they wait for me.
On another subject ... its Bonfire Night, and its more or less a full moon. :eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
((((((Doveling)))))))) commiserations on the loss of your beloved pooch.
jk0, I found IE absolute carp and have been a happy bunny since going ono Firefox, nuatha stuck the linkie on the thread for me. When I use my Dad's pooter it's still on IE and I cannot believe how slow and glitchy it is, and he won't let me change it, either! Ditch it, you won't regret it.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Sorry to hear about your pup Doveling.
Bonfire night here in Australia passed as it always does, quietly. Didn't hear a single one. Have to say, having a bit of a fire phobia, random idiots setting off fireworks is not something I miss from England.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -

Thanks GQ. I'm on Firefox now. However the print is a little small for me. I can alter it manually by clicking the three horizontal lines on top right, but every time I open another tab, the print is small again.
How can I get it to remember?0 -
The office at work has 10 computers and I think each of them has IE and Chrome, some have Firefox. The external computer people came to set up the latest 'new system', and went, and nobody seems to know which browser is intended to be the default. I don't even work in the office, just borrow someone's computer for 10 minutes each day, but the chaos and sheer incompetence, both of the computer people and the staff using the system all day, beggars belief. The lack of structure, planning and forethought, the fact that the systems analysts (if that's what they were) could devise and set up a system without visiting any of the departments that make up the business - the fact that nobody seems to have asked, "What's the procedure when such and such goes wrong...", and that one staff member actually has some understanding of 'if > then > therefore' and still never questioned the system design... I worry that my employment is incredibly vulnerable if the SHTF there, and my already pitiful weekly pay could become no weekly pay very quickly through the incompetence of its decision makers.
And my colleagues think I'm some kind of weird freak for storing water, food (and TP, of course) beyond what I need until next week's payday.0 -
doveling, sorry to hear about your dog. Hard to lose a long-time companion.
jk0, in firefox, go to the tools menu at the top, select options, then the content tab, adjust the font size. That should help.
Time for w*rk now...0
