Jim Butcher? Of Dresden fame? Ooh, is it good? I bet it is :)
:D But of course. I only read quality popular fiction. It's the 2014 publication of Skin Game, so that's me now fully up-to-date on The Dresden Files, been reading them for a few years now.

I got it back to the library within an hour of finishing it (have had it for about 3 days) because I know there will be rabid fans out there in the city waiting for it. Community property; one has to think of the rest of us bookworms.

Can I have some snow as well please?

Seriously I hope we do get some snow this winter. Last winter we had hardly a flake and as its my favourite weather I missed the walks and drives we usually go on when it is here. I know it can cause problems but I have always loved snow.

Snow is lovely - as long as you don't have to drive in it! What's the verdict, then, are we going to have the mildest winter on record or the coldest?

We do drive in snow but OH has an old beaten up 4X4 with invincible tyres so probably at an advantage. However, the amount of name calling this vehicle received throughout the year by some folk at a place where he use to work was incredible. Come the winter of 2010 and the same people were asking for tows or lifts from the very car they had name called for months beforehand.
